The FL starts getting on my nerves now. Lady, you're playing hard to get for too long. What else is going to take? How about this - Him, playing "Notting Hill" card, "I'm just a boy standing in front of a girl asking her to love him"
Really like the show. For once, no stupid FL where a grown woman acting like a little girl in front of the guy and let him dragging her like a puppy; and no stupid acting cold ML who can't even crack a smile for fear of ruining his ice cold ML image, LOL. FL - yes she was cringe at the beginning. But once ML rejected her, she acted appropriately. But it seems she plays hard to get way too long. It's the script, so don't blame her. And, I like her casual fashion. She looks cool. ML - Not a stupid ice cold ML that I hate. I can understand him. After rejecting her, he realizes how special she is and then he is adoringly, clumsily pursuing her, just fun to watch.
Hey there, I read from the site that has all novels that were adapted on screen. Yes, she had to get married early and he agreed to wait. However, he didn't wait long enough, only few months. What bothers me is that it was force intimacy. I don't want to go into explicit details that are really disturbing. By the time she was kidnapped, she was already pregnant, at the age of 14. The r*pe (her ex- husband) is in the extra chapter which was an alternate version of her many lives . Worse that the novel treated it as nothing. I ready many ancient romance novels, all have intimate details. But this one was just so sordid, worse that it gave justification for the men to do such things to their women and the women were ok with that. So f*cked up, IMO
Another star of this drama is the wardrobe. coats, jackets, boots either formal or informal are too cool, especially the two tone leather coat she wore in the kidnap scene is to die for.
Does this series feature much politics and struggles between noble families? I don't want to watch a drama where…
Not really. More power struggles between ML and 2ML. As for romance, there are some separation time lapses in the novel. But I believe the drama does not exactly follow the novel. Turning a female centric novel into a male centric drama is one of the changes, typical C-dramas
Yes, he's a business savvy man. Goes where profit leads. No mixing business and personal matters. Nothing is wrong with that. And a lot of us here agree with that. However, are we missing the point here? The point is - He shouldn't have wooed her. He shouldn't have dated her. He shouldn't have involved with her intimately. It's a big red flag, conflict of interest from the get go. And, it only hurts her much more once she knows his plan because she loves him. Feeling betrayed, used, backstabbed and more

It's only in c-drama world where the men are like sculpted to perfection every woman could only dream of.
