He really jumped down to rescue her, didn't he? I couldn't believe my eyes and laughed so hard. He landed like Captain America, but without the shield - cringe worthy moment.

Love the story. Love the FL. She's bold, direct but does not come across as cringy.
But, I feel so depressed every time after watching. All the leads are so miserable. The FL is a weirdo alright, having to remember all her damn past lives. The ML & SML rarely smile, having to carry the burdens, past traumas of their lives. The only one who is somewhat cheerful is the sister. And now there are 2 more weirdos.

Intriguing, captivating storyline, outstanding visual effect, outstanding acting from the leads. The ML is ethereal, mesmerizing, like an angel, like he’s walking out of a painting. The FL is cute, young, naïve but strong, smart, bold, and funny (no childish thank God).
Their first meet-cute – cute and sweet. Their second meet-cute – swoon worthy.
With 40 eps, what ahead may be up or down or draggy or whatever, still, borrowing a line from a famous movie I would sum up - “I will return, hungry for more”

The rain, the umbrella, the trip and fall into your arm, the staring… get me every time. Wish they could improvise a bit, something different but still classic? Anyway, I’m fine with just watching Jun Ho walking around in those fancy suits for 16 eps. Damn those suits!

Old trope, cliché at its finest, more entertaining than expected. Love Jun Ho's wardrobe, damn those suites!

Title Doctor Cha
Bruh, what's wrong with these K-dramas. Bad guys are either getting off lightly or getting away with everything. This A*hole cheater, you think he'll regret the rest of his life, think again. People don't change that easily. He may feel sad or regret or whatever the F for few weeks, at most few months. Then he'll find another mistress and enjoy his flying high career. The rest are a bunch of losers.

Another xianxia with young, naive FL. However, aside from smart and strong, she's cool, quirky, funny and doesn't act like a dummy 16 years old. I love her "no nonsense" approach.
Both leads have strong charisma and chemistry between them is undeniable from the get go.

Okay, What did love loss do to a man in C-drama land? For TTJ and YQY, the way they coped couldn’t be more different. One went complete psycho. Another looked lost and deadly calm as if he could blow up at any moment.
And when they faced off, we could see how agony they were. Oh well, don't mind me. I just read too much into these characters :-)

Have to say the chemistry between our leads and the 3rd couple was just too much to handle. It melts my TV screen LOL.
And the little Fox, she commanded attention every time she was on-screen. The way she was toying, flirting, pushing, pulling YQY makes my heart hurt for him, poor guy - "why should I love only one man while I can love more than one at once" LOL. And, last but not least, no word can describe their scene on ep 27. It was shot to perfection. I cried a river :-(

Back to the main leads’ chemistry. In the dream arc, even when they were fighting each other, their eyes screamed I love you. And back to mortal world, FL just gave ML a small kiss on the cheeck and he was like “wow, what was that? That was intense”
Just imagine if she gave him a real kiss, he would have fainted, lol

But like tbh no one here not even the amazing LYX is in the Cate Blanchet level.....so yeah, but isn't it her…
Agree, I didn't try to compare to big names in Hollywood as it's unfair. However, comparing to other leads, she was out of place. She was 2FL in a big production. If she was just a small supporting character, I won't care less.

Hate to say this again, but the acting of the actress who played 2FL is the weakest link out of otherwise an awesome cast.
In the dream arc, she played a prominent villain role with all ingredients for success. But she failed to deliver. I don’t expect a villain like Cate Blanchett in Thor Ragnarok. But c’mon, where was the murderous look, the look that kills, the chilling smiles when she was walking around killing people? In a spectacular setting from music to CGI, she was nothing but a walking beauty reading from the scripts.
20 eps in, but not too early to give her “Golden Raspberry Awards” for her acting.

My question is how would you see the scene if genders are reversed? It's my favorite exercise to remove any inherent…
Personally, no difference to me regardless. But I understand the norm is most of the time it's M doing it to FM so judgement would be bias against M more. However, they were marriage - Hence I would take it as in between - we can agree to disagree all day long, lol

There’s much debate about the intimate scene, r*pe or not r*pe or something in between.
1- Him - They were marriage, consummation was part of it automatically. So, for him to tell her in her face that he would not go to her bedroom was outright a d*ck move
2- Her – you’re my husband, you don’t want to, I’ll make you do it.
There, was it r*pe or was it not? It’s as morally grey as it can be. And that is one of the aspects that keeps us engaging in the show or the novel. If everything is as clear as black and white then it would be boring.

And so I thought this comment section is the most diverse, lively and healthy ever. Well, not so fast.
It’s a comment section for a reason. We share our thoughts as the show goes along, raving on something, ranting on something, or spending time analyzing every scene. The more popular the show is, the more polarizing it gets. So we expect to see colorful comments whether we agree or not. Having said that, some comments below like the show is stupid, don’t watch if you don’t like, don’t watch xianxia gene if don’t like the tropes, or assuming negative comments as the work of antis are uncalled for and toxic at best. Luckily, these comments are not many compared to 14K plus comments thus far. So, Keep it up y'all. This comment will be buried in a matter of hours, so roast me if you can

Tbh, I just don’t feel connected or emotional invested into the dream arc. The intimate scene was nicely done. However, I don’t expect real French kisses, but the kisses were not as spontaneous and passionate as I hope, too formulated.

Bruh, ep 11 - I was like dude since when you became Robin Hood who took on the establishments to protect the little guys? Whether or not he was faking it to get more allies to his side, I give him that for averting the fight and saving the life of 10K solders.

IMO, of the 6 leads, the SFL is the weakest link. Her acting is blank; her chemistry with SML is nonexistent,…
I know her role and scree time are limited. However, it's up to the artists to make their roles memorable regardless of how small the roles are. In this case, she's 2FL, so it's not small. If only she can have more expressions and chemistry with the 2ML. Her acting is just one dimensional to me. That makes she kind of out of place among otherwise stellar leads.
