Joo Won’s backstory is interesting although I wanna know what happened after the cliffhanger of ep 9, like what happened to Doo Shik and Min Hyun, but oh well…
Are the people who have superpowers in this show supposed to be aging slower than normal people? Because if not…
Are you talking about Mi Hyun? Well she was the youngest recruit so she was still young around mid-20s during NIS flashback. And after 17years (Bong Seok’s age), she might be in her early 40s. If you look properly, she does look a bit old at current timeline with freckles and slight wrinkles. As for Joo Won, he does look old in the current timeline with grey hair compared to the flashback.
Why is the title for english always sound weird, I thought we have passed the phase of “My Lovely…”
I tried to translate the meaning of 순정 and it means “Pure.” I think if they use the tile like Pure Boxer or True Boxer would sound better than My Lovely Boxer 💀
I have no doubt on LJG playing Eun Seom, because at the end of the story he’s become a leader so the character…
I’ve watched multiple of his dramas and I’m fully aware that he’s a versatile actor. It’s just that SJK has made Sa Ya character as his, so it’s hard for me to imagine LJG playing the character. I was just replying to the OG comment about how both of the actors’ auras and vibes are different. Yes, he can play a mysterious character, but to be slick & cheeky with innocent but killing smile, it’s hard for me to imagine him doing it unless Sa Ya’s character after 8 years has becomes matured, then I think LJG can pull it off because his aura is macho & matured.
I hope for some changes and interesting turns of the plot . I am very happy with the change of the Fl, we need…
I’m surprised with your comment because to me, Kim Ji Won played Tanya character perfectly and I’m sad that she’s not Tanya anymore. I had goosebumps at the end when she finished the ritual dance because it’s so powerful and graceful. I’ve opposite opinion which I’ve watched multiple Shin Se Kyung’s dramas and she still needs to work on her expressions. I always try to give her a chance and still watch her dramas, but most of the time, it’s kinda disappointing.
Lee Joongi and Song Joong Ki 's aura are completely different which will for sure be reflected on the character's…
I have no doubt on LJG playing Eun Seom, because at the end of the story he’s become a leader so the character fits right. I’ve slight doubt with Sa Ya however because I still feel that only SJK can pull of such character.
I just watched episode 11 and i have a lot of questions. So their plan was to create a juvenile spirit who would…
Second born is needed to create juvenile ghost. Shaman Choi chose Hangyi at first, but when she learned that what would happen to her, she gave the hair accessories to her sister instead. Shaman Choi brought Mokdan and kept her, but not for the ritual because it won’t work because Mokdan is not secondborn. It’s kinda a plot to make Hangyi felt guilty which worked for Shaman’s favor when she came to get her sister back. Shaman killed Mokdan to make Hangyi angrier as that’s the whole point of creating juvenile ghost which is why she was left starving before her ritual.
So we all know that Shaman Choi gave instruction on how to get rid of the evil spirit. They must got the 5 items…
Ohh nice interpretation. I rewatched the scene when Shaman Choi gave the instruction and she did mention about destroying the host for good using the finger as final straw. So I guess that’s why. I thought it’s to be done altogether to make it happen.
I wanna clarify something because the ending of the evil spirit is kinda confusing.
So we all know that Shaman Choi gave instruction on how to get rid of the evil spirit. They must got the 5 items and name correct. If I’m not mistaken, Prof Yeom sealed only 4 items with Lee Hangyi name until Sanyeong’s mom told him that SY is in the mirror. So by sealing all 5 items, it’d kill SY in the mirror which is why he stopped it. There’s no scene of him sealing the hairpin. Then he knew about the finger and tried to find it. What I don’t understand is that, the evil spirit is just gone like that by burning the finger? How about sealing all the objects?
does it ever explained why the parents of the dead student in ep 1-2 hid their daughter? i'm a bit confused why.
Unwanted second child and the parents don’t want to register her, maybe due to financial issue. This might be a clue to why SY’s evil spirit somehow helps the child and resolve the grudge of the dead student ghost. There’s theory that the evil spirit might be unwanted (or illegitimate) second-born child.
