LYS made NXG paid for the team dinner is kinda funny to me and I kinda like it because he’s teasing her and he knows that she can afford it and it’s not even a burden to her. Technically, they’re all her employees too. Like LYS said, the money the company made is going to her pocket anyway 😆😆

I don’t read the novel, but my guess is that ML’s friend mentioned Nie’s daughter, not specifically her name, so it could be her dad’s mistress’ daughter instead because in ep 1, her aunt mentioned about how her dad took in the daughter too. ML is the one assumed it’s NXG as he’s interested in her when he saw her at the party. Her backstory at college is important to show us that she never liked ML back then and she’s into ZX. She seems clueless about ML during first encounter at the office, and we could see she doesn’t understand what she forgot when ML asked her, so yeah it could be just misunderstanding.

I don’t see it as bullying because she indeed made a mistake when she worked in finance. Though she’s not the one doing it but the stamp is hers so it’s recorded. She should double check it. It’s partly to make both departments at ease that he asked her to join admin department and so far the work needs to be done like organizing the files (I take it as punishment for the mistake) and asking for the historical price because he finds procurement team suspicious and he wants the record. Maybe because I work in office so his request is a normal request related to data and management, it’s not like he asked her to bring him food or drinks, then that is considered bullying as it’s not part of job scope.
I wonder who from top management in the company knows that she is the daughter of the second shareholder. I think HR should know since they let her start working in Sep since she’s traveling Europe first after graduation.

Ep 1 showed ML saw her at the party, so he met her there. My guess she’s already in college by then (maybe first or second year) because it’d be weird if she’s still in high school — fingers cross pls don’t make questionable pedo ML), that’s why the current timeline 2011/2012 is her graduation year and post-accident. Seeing how she’s clueless now I really think it wasn’t her who asked for the date so she didn’t know anything about ML and his accident. I didn’t read the novel, but I can’t wait to know more what happened during their first encounter and how they would resolve this misunderstanding.
