You’re welcome! Oh, yikes, yeah, they changed some things to make it seem to the audience that XY only loves Jing. It sort of backfired because her chemistry with him is pure cringe but when she’s with Xiang Liu, the screen explodes.
We may have some changes in s2 as well, but if the leaked script is to be believed, we will have to grab our pitchforks. It’s hard to be a Xiang Liu stan 😩

Not gonna lie, I don’t mind Jing being the chosen one because XY became quite pitiful at the end. But Xiang Liu dying is still awful. I wish there was a way for him to remain alive or be resurrected later on 🤧

Yes, that’s precisely it. They’re trying to make TSJ something he’s not. Sure, he’s indeed described as the lover, but that means only that he’ll get to be with XY at the end, while the others won’t. Not even as TSJ, but YSQ, as you pointed out. It’s a real pity, but unfortunately he was the only one alive at the end to be her companion :(
