Help! I’m confused. When Chae Ha’s dad did the murdering, the prosecutor was already a prosecutor??? And Chae ha was in the police force? So Chae ha wasn’t a kid??? How old is the prosecutor??? I thought he was late 20s to early 30s? If going by the Time line, he should be late 30s, early 40s by now?

Like I said, normal people’s reaction is “Is she okay”. But he asked is the baby okay. He knows as long as the baby is fine, he can stay. He knows the rules of manipulation. If a person is not manipulative, he wouldn’t know the rules.

in ep 2, the first question XF asked when he heard about his wife’s fall is “is the baby ok?” not “is she okay.” LQ accurately saw the XF is smart and manipulative. XF’s “meek” nature is just his way of survival.

Remember XF willingly took the drug? He could have said no.

XF did the trick twice. First time he got drugged to seduce LQ. second time he delivered soup to LQ in the rain. I mean, was it necessary? He hasn’t delivered soup for some time and he chose a rainy day to do it? Why didn’t he take an umbrella? He needs to be wet in a white tee? Come on, that’s seduction.

XF is meek. But he can also be smart and manipulative. They can all exist in a person.

I agree with you about the good stuff but the script is bad though. In ep 1, all the bl cliches are squeezed into the first 15 min: broken ankle, football, rich hot guy in sports car, pairing with classmate to dance, etc. the story is lame. I blame the writer. It’s like asking AI to write the most cliche bl.

I think offgun put me off the "stupid, silly uke" trope forever. I love gun, i think he can act. But over time, he's always typecast as the stupid uke who can't even function properly in society. He keeps playing that kind of role. And that really puts me off the trope. Wataru seems to fall into that trope.

the two leads' face cards are insane. they look like they are AI. But the story feels like it's written by a 14 year-old. Whoever is the novelist and scriptwriter - stop writing.
