Yo didn't know being honest and dramatic for fun in a review was a cry for help. Guess only overly fanatic positive…
Nobody said you can’t be honest and dramatic. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say. the meltdown? Lol. It’s like seeing one of those grown women lying on the floor at an airport gate, kicking her legs in the air for missing the flight. Lol. It’s tragic and funny.

So what happened with Gao Tu and Shen Wen Lang at the end? I'm a bit confused.
According to what Sheng and Hua yong tell their son, SWL is begging for Gao Ty’s forgiveness. We can assume a happy ending for them

Did anyone else think Peanut was a brat
Yup. It’s very rude to call his dad by name. I don’t think I know a single Chinese person doing that and I’m Chinese

How is it a bad storytelling? Every character has a purpose. And why would you introduce a cameo role/guest role…
Ok but at least I know the theory. You? 💀💀💀

Heard of the Dunning-Kruger effect? Why do people who know the least also think they know the most? Also comparing writing to music?! lol. False analogy fallacy, go google or chat gpt it

so i have taken many writing classes and you are right there are rules. however we should never judge until we…
No. Every culture does introduce a last minute character. Thats called deux ex machina, to tie up loose ends. It first occurred in Greek comedies thousands of years ago. It’s considered bad writing too even though these Greek comedies have become classics. every culture has its bad writers. Good writing is planned properly. Having a character popped up the last minute to rescue the story is bad planning. And bad planning = bad writing. It has nothing to do with culture.

it's a clear ending. Gao Tu and SWL ended up together as told by Hua Yong and Sheng to their son. but it just…
Yeah. They should show Gao tu and swl. Just telling it isn’t enough for me.

Does it work for the story is the important thing. That a device has been used badly in other productions does…
Sure. I have made tiktoks on BL using cliches well in unique ways. But Khemjira isn't it.

Not sure where you're are getting your "storytelling rules" from, but they are neither the law nor universally…

they should have cut some time from earlier episodes and put in more time for Gao Tu and SWL's reunion.

It wasn't that big of a deal and it got worse.
Nah. I disagree. Ep 1 and 2 are refreshing not only that it combines Korean myth with BL, but the chronological artistry in which the story unfolds is delicious too. It’s top notched. But ep 3 and 4 are cliche and boring.

Nope. “It’s all a dream” is always 100% horrible storytelling because firstly it deceives the audience and secondly it’s a cliche that any smart person can see a mile away. It’s boring. And boring stories with cliches are always bad storytelling
