wtf. 1. There’s no reason for iljo to hide that he’s adopted. 2. The show deceived us audience for the entire series. Why? The big idea of their show is that they are cousins, an obstacle to their relationship. But it’s not even an obstacle in the first place. That’s a cheap trick, it’s awful writing.
After watching ep 8, i feel like the series is just repeating itself without any narrative progression. They keep going in circles without really moving forward with the case. And what happened to King that he suddenly changed his behaviour?? I'm going to give it one last chance and watch ep 9. If there's no progress, I'll give up. Don't think I can last until ep 13.
First of all, I want to say I'm very okay with feminine top- masculine bottom. My friend is like that, he is a very, very feminine top, and his partner is a masculine bottom. But this thupsingha dynamics is not working for me. I feel disgusted watching them. It's because tops and bottoms should have at least one dominant trait. My feminine top friend is smart and a better socialiser (high eq and high iq), so i get their dynamics even though he's very feminine. Bottoms tell me that they will never let my feminine friend top them, never. (Yes, it's narrow minded, but that's just how the gay circle works.) But here, thup is weird, not particularly smart, no social circle, not rich, not sporty. Singha is better than Thup in all ways. It's so unrealistic that a bottom will fall for Thup.
