Never understand with the ending.

I watched this drama since i want to check on Zhao Fei and I don't know if it's torturing the FL or Me the watcher. Yang Han is quite scumbag in this drama. The chemistry and romance scene between them is non-exist. Almost every scene is torturous.

FL is treated like a trash, and all her misfortunes are caused by the ML yet she can still live with him like nothing happened. Worse of all, ML has a constant affair while FL is devoted to him. The fact that it has a happy ending is just unbelievable, FL shouldn't back again to ML.

Its not Zhao Fei best work and Yang Han, recommended if you like Female lead is being tortured mentally.

Kind of Disorganized drama made by Deadliner

I need to apologize but this is one of Wang Haozhen mediocre drama.

The first half of this drama is like a cultural tourism promotional video, with a slow pace, showcasing the picturesque scenery of ancient villages, exquisite ethnic costumes, and the simple and honest villagers.

The narrative in the latter half of the series is somewhat disorganized: a gambling and thieving ex-boyfriend; an aunt and cousin plotting to seize the family fortune; the various aspects of life in a mental hospital… There's too much content to express, but not enough space, making it seem disorganized drama.

I don't see any chemistry between Wang Haozhen and Wang Gege even though their acting are completely fine. And the worst the characterization for the lead are inconsistent especially ML. ML's character, supposed to be an undercover police officer who emotionally restrained, wary, and somewhat detached but for some reason, the male lead in the series seems to be in a "love-struck" state (if they make his character as CEO it would be fine but current restriction made drama less rich CEO character persona).

Watching this feels like mending mismatch puzzled and try to glue with low quality paper stick.

Recommended to Wang Haozhen and Wang Gege fans only.

I give you warning if you don't like BE or Sad Ending go see another drama.

I quite like most of Peng Yao works. For Yang Peng Cheng, his works is hit-and-miss but i am not avoiding his work since i believe he can polish his acting skill. The chemistry between them has potential even there is almost no romantic moment.
The plot is about the FL seeks for ML who was young thug helps to fight her abusive uncle. The relationship between FL and ML from mutual use to mutual salvation and they found themselves "home".

My pet peeve to this drama, in the middle (eps 50 above) the plot was kind of dragged and ML mother death are biggest letdown to this drama. I understand the writer want to make tragedy drama but there is unnecessary to make ML mother died.

Recommended to someone who love BE.

Decent Pseudo Older Sister-Younger Brother Romance aka Duanju's Sniper Butterfly

This is basically Sniper Butterfly duanju version and if i compared it. I still choose the Long Drama because Zhou Keyu chemistry with Chen Yanxi is *chef kiss* but since this is my review without comparing to the Long drama. I will recap my thoughts.

The Plot is about ML whose his stepdad and mother were passed away due accident. He is still on minor and need guardian for get a inheritance. Since his relative is only aiming for his inheritance, he choose FL who was his stepfather daughter as his guardian. The feeling between adoration and love was grow from ML while FL was being nonchalant while actually protect ML from his relative scheme.

I like how the drama make the romance growth more naturally since ML is on teenage phase (the bittersweet feeling about know his puppy love was not being appreciated) and how FL are still on her moral compass not to indulge ML desire.

Personally, I quite Zhang Hongming still needs a little acting lesson since few his emotional scene are not too convincing (I talk about his crying scene). Ironically Zhang Hongming on his teenage stage are quite decent compare to adult stage. The Adult stage of Zhang Hongming are quite not memorable although the fun part on the story was supposed to be on adult stage. I was too bored on almost last minute of the drama.

Luckily His chemistry with Jinzi wasn't too bad so i can finish the drama with clear mind.

I like how Jinzi portrayed her older sister persona even her smoking scene is obviously not from the heavy smoker. I wont say Its the best Jinzi drama but i will say its 5 best Jinzi drama i ever watch this year.

Recommended to watch if you want to see sniper butterfly on 1.25x speed compare to long drama.

It was Okay but...

Finally i can see Zeng Hui with other Female Cast more than Han Yutong (I love the CP but paired the too much would give me aesthetic fatigue) and Zhang Jinyi is one of my favorite actress.

The Plot is ML wants to trap FL fiancé by sending him a woman to get FL attention. He pretend to calm down FL to become negotiator. He make strategy to get FL break up with his fiancé since ML fell in love with FL for 9 years.

Zeng Hui is good as Green Tea ML even there is no male lead could beat Wang Peiyan on this field. Zhang Jinyi is portrayed as decent FL who not easily being fool. Actually they could have get more chemistry but somehow Zeng Hui maintains to keep distance since he loves his IRL girlfriend so much.

Still recommended to Zeng Hui fans who are not into real CP fans

Love in Sadness from Shein

I rewatch again since the plot is almost same as K-drama love of sadness.

Ma Xiao Yu with his usual field (Psychopath person) is always superb. Liked His chemistry with Jin Zi (the best part is when FL was Jin Zi, her trauma is hit the point without being overdramatic) too bad her part not to much compare to Lan Lan. To be honest Zeng Hui character is not that memorable and his emotion barely shown compared to his other drama.

Not fond of Lan Lan acting and her chemistry with Zeng Hui is barely zero.

The ending is quite fine but not clear about Present FL and ML (Open Ending)

Quite promising but there is many to improve

I Love Shi Xuejing and Wang Haozhen, but this is quite letdown for me since i like the plot very much (Office romance with slow pace). The chemistry is barely exist even both of them are gorgeous and the kiss is not helping that much.

Plot is about smarty plain looking FL aka Gu Yao with fool history of love since she getting cheated by her ex and going back to him twice (this part is make me pissed like how the writer make the hole on this story, they could make this part more better) while ML aka Zhou Zhengliang the divorcee man whose his past marriage only by paper to please his family and slowly attracted by FL as her new boss (the point which make me has expectation to this drama). ML tried to pursue FL while he misunderstand her thinking as FL replacement ex boyfriend while FL thinks too highly of ML since he got higher position and known as someone with charisma.

Still watchable but not the best drama for both actors.

Got Sour feeling but first version still win despite many version!

First, I don't like this troupe (wont call it One Night Stand but FL is giving her virginity to ML due her blackmail about her bully cousin and poof she is disappeared after that while she know she was pregnant) but i watched it and this is the first version. The first version is follow the original novel so its kinda have sour feeling and morally grey ML. Fu Yushu can portrayed introverted but strong sense of boundaries since she is married by paper only when met Male Lead (Dong Yi) who didn't realized she is the chubby girl he had secretly loved with denial. Dong Yi is success to make ML douchebag without restrained since he just knew she is married but he just want to chase Female Lead. The tug-of-war feeling is there with complex feeling without being dragged on the middle. The ending is not clear for me but i still recommended it if you want get sour feeling and watch morally grey character.

Cat Mouse couple with nice banter.

Just watched this drama. Its another uncle and nephew ex girlfriend relationship plot and secret marriage but i love how Feng Ming Chao showing his rizz as Uncle and his banter with Chen Luxi was worth to watch. The kisses had nice chemistry. Female lead brother was fun and her all family is not toxic. I just don't like how Second Male lead (Ji Jun Liang) was being obsessed with Female lead and his character was downhill in the end. The best part on this drama how Male lead put sticky note on Female lead when she sleeping and how both are playing cat& mouse with Female lead brother. The ending is so-so but still worth to watch for their banter.

Another Wen Moyan revenge dark drama.
Her Chemistry with Chen Minghao was overflowing and the kisses are sensual and lustful. The plot are not something new (reborn plot) but Female Lead are calculated to make false claim as His ex fiance real sister (His ex fiance has incest relationship with her real sister and his engagement to female lead just to hinder the scandal). Her previous life was too tragic even she remembers every part of it (Her rage moment about how she getting raped was make me shiver).
The ending is quite rushed and i was thinking how come he is just standing and do nothing.

Can actresses stop using long nail manicure for ancient drama?

I watched this since this is first ever Han Yutong-Zeng Hui ancient drama.

This drama used real voice which is quite rare for Tinghuadao dramas. I am glad they are back to comedy route but the theme is almost same "husband chases wife" with difference they add up the reincarnation since ML was actually FL friends lover and emperor but he got amnesia on the first life and he left her while FL's friends was heartbroken and FL advised her to take out the money and she killed FL. On second life, FL take ML as her lover and break up with him to get his money. If you look for the kiss scene, it was like their another collaboration. It's basically their comfort zone.

Among the supporting characters, the eunuch next to the ML has very natural acting skills, which is comfortable to watch. I was also impressed by the young actress who played the FL. The young actress with relatively many scenes in the crying scenes was very moving and pleasing to the eye The emperor acts like a follower NPC, randomly appearing where the FL appears. I quite like FL friends who manages the shop, she brings the comedy. Ming Chuan in here as SML aka the top scholar was not quite memorable and just being use to stimulate the leads relationship and his trop was quite interesting when his love interest was appear (the widow of his brother).

Okay the things that i don't like in this drama were Han Yutong's long nails manicure. Girl,I love you but you are on period drama please take out your long manicure. Zeng Hui eyebrows was quite distracting too who the hell draw long ass thick eyebrow..

Anyway it was nice watch for light comedy.

This is just kissing festival drama.

You want drama without rich plot but full of kissing technique??? Just watch this drama. The plot doesn't matter anymore. Acting? Doesnt matter you dont need that, this drama is all about kissing. Jin Jiayu realy devour his kissing talent in here. ML and FL have excellent chemistry, and their kissing scenes are not only numerous but also quite daring for a short drama of this caliber.

The worst of all? The editor team seems to be lacking in this drama. Many unprocessed green screen shots. Leads operating green screen phones and computers are glaringly obvious, severely impacting the viewing experience.

The selling point in this drama is just kissing and intimate scene, i am serious. If you are more plot oriented, RUN!

This is Twinkling Watermelon shein version (because they only spend of stellar casts instead for refining the plot).

I love the cast especially the MLs but the FLs they always got me hit and miss sometimes and i prefer Li Keyi in this role more than her grandma role so her acting is pass while Yuyin got her chemistry better with Zhang Chi. For their performance i would rate like this: Zhang Chi>>>>>>>>>>Li Keyi=Wang Yilei>>Yuyin.

This could be the best campus drama if they didn't leave many plot holes about how FL and ML life after time traveling did they together, if FL is actually went to FL mom school after time travel, and FL mother's current destiny after time travel.

Regardless of all the flaw, it still watchable.
