True (ugh, I don't know how to connect the dots anymore). But how I ended up coming up with that theory is that in next week's preview, Somi asked, 'Have you ever loved me?' and ML responded 'I do' instead of 'I did', which is present tense. I don't know, but their entanglement has to be deeper than crazy ex-lovers because there's no way you wouldn't recognize your ex-lover despite her not having her memory, or even go out of your way to house her temporarily, especially if she's maybe involved in your son's disappearance. Even if he didn't end up being a cheater, he's still wrong for never mentioning him and Hae Sook's child and just letting her live on thinking they never had any children together. Even if it was out of good intentions, that's the most painful thing you can ever do to a mother: making her believe she never had children when she did. If I were Hae Sook, I would still be hurt after finding out all this because I would rather know, process it, and grieve my child than live like I have no child at all.

With just two episodes left, I hope all our loose ends will be neatly tied together. And I have a feeling it's her son who might save her this time instead of her husband.

Mine is a bit darker compared to everyone else’s but hear me out:

Wow, this drama is truly unpredictable. So far, it has gotten 95% of my predictions wrong, but I'm enjoying all the twists and turns it puts me through, despite the pain. And see, I knew it, that the ML is an unfaithful husband, and Somi, ooof, you darn home wrecker! But as the saying goes, you can't clap with just one hand; it takes two to make a sound. So they're both equally disgusting and deserve each other. I'm somewhat relieved that the pastor was not the son of ML and Somi, but of ML and FL instead. Not that it changes anything, but still I'm glad FL is the mother of the pastor. Whatever happens beyond this point, I hope ML experiences the most painful pain ever possible, even if that means losing FL. He did her wrong on so many levels.

My predictions for next ep: He had an affair with Somi prior to his accident that led him to be bedridden. He didn’t want to lose the marriage he had, so he tried to get rid of Somi. FL eventually found out about his affair and went into shock, thus potentially causing her to lose her memory of her child. I feel like Somi had something to do with FL’s son’s abandonment, or maybe ML and Somi planned it together, who knows?

There’s no character that I pity more than FL. Imagine if my prediction turns out to be true? Your husband had an affair, you lost a child, and your memory. Your husband got into an accident and you took care of him thinking he’s the best husband you’ve ever had, worked through shine and rain to provide for the both of you your entire lives just to find out later in the afterlife that he stabbed you with the biggest knife? I hope I’m wrong, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s a shitty husband. ❤️‍🩹

How is this any different from humans falling in love with gumihos, vampires, angels, devils, and goblins, etc.? (Vice versa.) It's a work of fiction. That's just how I see it. It's really up to your interpretation, but in my eyes, he slowly developed those feelings for her over time. Like I said, he may not have been aware of it until he gained human senses. Those motives are now mixed with romantic feelings. It will BE MESSY, even he himself is now unsure if he caught feelings for her or not. Since emotions are a new thing for him, all he knows right now is that he's fond of her.

I think he has always taken a liking to her since the beginning of him being around her, but he was never fully aware of it because he never had the ability to feel emotions until he entered Yun Gap's body.

My support for that is, if he didn’t like her, why would he take on the blame of killing her grandmother instead of telling her the truth? If he didn’t like her, why would he do everything in his power to stop her from going into the palace and encountering that beast? Yes, at first there were motives behind it, but I feel now that it's honestly his true feelings that have been hidden behind the disguise of 'you being my loyal disciple, and I will be your guardian' for the last 13 years.

I believe that what he's feeling right now are his own personal feelings, and not Yun Gap's. It's just Yeo Ri who has to figure out her heart once everything settles.

I don’t think we’ll get a sad ending… because she had a vision of them becoming a family early on, so I’m confident that the possibility of a happy ending is high. But yes, there’s still a slim chance of a sad ending, because only an Imoogi’s crystal stone can take out that evil spirit, thus possibly resulting in him sacrificing himself. Returning the body to Yun Gap.

But who knows? We'll have to wait and see. I don't think it's forced; I actually enjoy their chemistry. Yun Gap is sweet and all, but Gang Cheol grew on me. I hope he'll be the end game, hehe. 🖤

It’s a completely different genre from lovely runner. I would say although romance is not the biggest focus here. The romance that it does give, balances out with everything very well & the chemistry is good. Please do give it a shot though I promise you it’ll be worth every minute of your time! ☺️
