I tried to stick it out to the end for the sake of the cast, but the writing isn’t working for me. The way the police were written felt dumb/unrealistic, and the entirety of the leads’ relationship feels off. Even with their backstory, I don’t feel anything between them, even when she softens a bit during their escape.
Someone who finished it, please come back and spoil these for me:
1. What was the kidnapper’s motive/reasoning for kidnapping her and targeting the leads specifically?
2. Was the video that was used against him AI or not, and how was the ML able to declare his innocence?
3. What was the real reason the leads’ marriage went cold? There has to be more to it than just losing their daughter or him being an absent husband due to his profession — loss is hard, yes, but it’s not cold-shoulder worthy. Were they able to reconcile their marriage or not?
4. Did the FL’s dad have any involvement in any of this?

Loving it so far, but am I the only one who feels that, as we got into the double-digit episodes, the majority of screen time has been given to the villains and side characters instead of our Fei Li Mo Shu? They're starting to feel like a cameo instead of the main leads. 😭 I'm low-key upset that I have to skip a big chunk just to see them. The villains talk too much. I, of course, watch enough to understand the plot, but I honestly don't care for the villains. I hope the focus won't remain like this and will eventually shift back to them, as we still have a lot to unpack, especially about Ah-Li. 💔
I rewatched Flower of Evil for the first time in five years and it's still as good as it was the first time 😭. (I finished it within two days, I'm missing Joon-gi so it definitely helped with the fever.) What do I do now? How do I move on from this masterpiece again? 💔
I'm sensing that his relationship with his sister-in-law is not simply just brother and sister-in-law. I think it's more complex than that (maybe they're ex-lovers), LOL. I don't know, but she gives off jealous vibes, because if it's just fear of him stealing the throne later on, she wouldn't be acting like that. She said she wasn't going to play matchmaker, yet got upset when he brought home his bride-to-be? Especially when you were the one urging him to get married, Lmao, make it make sense. 😭 Loving our royal couple so far, and that rooftop kiss was everything, ahhh 🥹💕!

I don’t think the problem was his acting it’s due to the quality of the script. If anything, his skills are way better than FL’s. Her skills as of right now are flat.
Ngl, the last episode might just be the best episode throughout the entirety of this drama, lmao. It had me tearing up a bit. Our universe signing off. Thank you, baby Woojoo, you were the strength that kept the audience together.
This was a disastrous ride because the writers didn’t know which route they wanted to take with their story, but one thing they did right was the bond between the neighbors. Overall, it's a solid 6.0/10. ⭐️ (because of baby Yuho).
Although they're dating, their kiss scenes are still awkward to me… I prefer them hugging, and I blame that on the writers because they barely got any time together, and now their relationship feels forced.

I've just started this, and so far, so good, but just a thought: isn't it quite careless to throw the responsibility of responding to your girlfriend onto your friend? I know it was supposed to be a one-time thing, but couldn't you have brought yourself to tell her yourself that you'll be busy in the lab or whatever? Like, girl, was he even interested in you? 😭 I do find it weird that she has no idea what her online boyfriend looks like.
