can anyone that read the novel tell me if there's a big change or if its following the novel well?
From what Iâve read the drama is moving faster + Lu xixiao isnât a playboy anymore, he also doesnât smoke or drink as in the novel. Also the leads are older everything theyâre going through now happened when they were still in high school â at least the most recent stuff. ie, her grandma passing happened when she was 16 not 18.
I saw a spoiler for the drama and there keeping the part where zhou wan crashes out in front of Lu xixiao but it looks like theyâre gonna do it a little differently; i honestly felt so bad for zhou wan in that moment like she was only a teen going through all that.
everything is clear as of EP13, so novel reader please tell me what other misunderstanding they had?
Thereâs still the part in the novel where sheâll make a deal w Lu xixiaoâs to leave Lu xixiao in order for him to basically ruin her mom if that makes sense.
since episode release is so slow... can novel readers share some interesting plot lines.. like small incidents…
In the novel Zhou wans grandma dies when zhou wan is only 16 and at the time she was already dating Lu xixiao, she took it pretty hard at stayed at home for 3 days Lu xixiao didnât know until he asked Jiang yan. He rushed over to her place and let her cry on his shoulder for hours until she started to feel better and he then encourages to get herself together basically. I thought it was really cute but also really sad Zhou wan really went through a lot.

I think the betrayal will be her leaving him out of nowhere after they get even closer, because in the novel he doesnât react strongly to her being her daughter.
I binged this whole thing today and it was so worth it. I will say definitely a little overly freaked out from what im used to but still a great show no dragged out misunderstanding trope or anything.

aw this was such a cute little ending i loved how there was no major breakup after the leads got together and how the vp & secretary maintained a healthy relationship after everything
