decided to rewatch this because of the recent buzz of its korean remake. i don't know what's wrong with me when i first watched it that it leaves no remark on my mind, this dorama is so fucking peak
What abt the bar owner where Johan used to visit, which is also the reason why Johan is labled as "gay b*stard"…
the thing is, they dont even bother to tell about that part, like why he's there and become a regular customer there. its so vague that its almost funny and kinda forced to labeled taecyeon's character a gay. the thing between taecyeon and hayato's character can almost be identified as bromance if there were no 'i love you' part at the end of the episode.
man i wish they would remake the movie version 7-8 years later with the same cast of the dorama since nishikata and takagi got a really good chemistry here
Why would this be overglazing? If they’re falling in love, of course they’re going to look at each other more…
i can understand about the point of looking at each other deeply when the characters are falling in love, but to make it 2 minutes/more just for staring at each other? i dont get the entertainment in that. i cant say i have watched many GL series but i have a fair share of watching GL stuff. tbh i have never find GL/BL as the main genre/story that really catch my interest, but if its a normal drama that have a side characters that happen to have a GL/BL relationship it always does catch my interest like i honestly thought BL/GL series is just a fanservice for the community. if this series isn't considered oversexualized then i guess these genre isn't my cup of tea.
overglazing in every scene is crazy. the first two episodes was great then suddenly they need to make every scenes glazed to please the gay watcher. this could be a great romcom drama if its not because the overglaze on everything, like literally everything.
this stuff is harder than any japanese netflix released on 2025 like i dont understand why its only got an average 7 in this site, but its MDL im not surprised. only the gayest shit are rated high.
