Deng Kai, I hope you get your flowers and the recognition you deserve. My sexy scene stealer. It has been hard…
He’s doing a damn good job at portraying Qi Min, it’s actually crazy. Haven’t seen someone play his role as a psychopath without looking goofy or cringe onscreen for so long. Like he genuinely scares me in this drama with the way his character’s acting. I really hope this drama will make his breakthrough in the long-form drama world.
I commend Kong Xueer as well. If she wasn’t able to keep up with Deng Kai’s performance, it wouldn’t look so good, but she did. The pure fear and terror of Yu Qianqian at the mere sight of Qi Min you can really feel through Kong Xueer’s acting. Lowkey I was holding my breath with her when Deng Kai was “lovebombing” her.
And Lin Muran… damn he’s got the face to play someone like Sui Yuanqing… he’s deranged but also doesn’t erase the fact that he’s a kid. His acting’s great too (as expected from a child actor). I firmly believe him having dimples is one of the main reasons why he’s embodied the vibes of Sui Yuanqing’s character.
they're masking it as criticism when it's so obvious they just hate the FL. fang muyang has his own share of mishaps, some even graver than fei ni's, and yet he's offered nothing but grace while fei ni hasn't been granted the same. day by day it gets proven that a lot of people cannot handle flawed female characters.
expected so much from this lakorn honestly lol. was excited to see ryuxmint and meenxnamfah pairing in this show but for some reason the plot's pissing me off because it's so meh. kind of a weak follow-up project for mint post-dhevaprom but it is what it is.
she didn’t have any appearances in this drama since her character, cheewan, hasn’t been introduced yet. cheewa,…
for Dujupsorn? they got togethet at the end but they were practically pining for each other the whole drama. no break-ups! and maybe a slight love triangle? it’s not the annoying type of love triangle though.
Yeah, this is definitely the best part of the series alongside Kwanruetai. Followed by Laorchan, Jaipisut, and then the last would be the mess that is Poncheewan.
By the way, Cheewa appears more in the novel. As for screentime, Phum and Cheewa only had more screentime in the…
They focused too much on Cheewa’s storyline plus that storyline with Muslin that the main leads were barely getting any screentime. And even if they do, it’s for scenes that basically does nothing to develop their characters and storyline. It’s like their scenes are just there for pure vibes.
Regarding the nonsensical scenes, I feel like the scriptwriter did not understand how to write the Jutatheps. Like the fact that people can easily get in and out of the palace? And you’re right that the kidnap and province scenes were so out of place and doesn’t make any sense. People are generally afraid of their family because again, they’re nobles and has a lot of connections in and out of the country.
Also not to mention the entirety of Kratin’s character doesn’t make sense. In Khun Chai Pawonruj, Kratin and Tang Ying Rasa were literally close? So for older Kratin to treat Saruj like that was already odd to me.
They really wasted Kao and PP’s chemistry with this poorly written — and dare I say produced — drama 🙁
I really feel bad for Kao and PP’s characters… like the scriptwriters really screwed Cheewan and Saruj up and made them background characters in their OWN story… Phum and Cheewa getting majority of the screentime + their storyline is a mess and hasn’t been going anywhere and we only have TWO episodes left + now with the ChatKwan wedding being promoted better than the main casts both from Good Feeling TV and CH3. They have got to give Kao PP another drama, hopefully one with a better script and amazing production 😫 their chemistry’s wasted in this drama… although I do know they have a movie (?) that hasn’t been released yet.
They really did just use the characters in the Poncheewan novel and abandoned the original storyline because the drama right now is a big pile of nonsense 🥹 reading the details of what happened in the novel that has been posted below made me sad because the original novel seemed like it had a great storyline that made actual sense.
It just sucks how this adaptation did not give the feel-good feeling the book seemed to give because I was genuinely looking forward to this installment alongside Dujupsorn since the trailers looked so promising and interesting + crazy chemistry between the leads, too. God, why did the scriptwriters have to turn everything around from the original source and ruin a supposed nice story 😩 the viewers should be having a ball while watching this drama, not feeling frustrated and pissed at how the drama’s going on.
saw clips of cheewa eating out with poom and dalat, and i actually liked how those scenes alone portrayed the difference between poom and dalat’s statuses, which has been the central theme of the drama. it’s subtle but you can tell they were trying to convey that message.
i feel like they wrote the second couple’s story a bit better compared to the main couple… also that scene of poom and cheewa in the hospital was so wholesome 🥺 saint & creamy played their roles well.
I don’t know why but I’m having a hard time proceeding with this lakorn 🫠 is it the acting? the script? the production? idk… 😭 at this point, i’ll just watch the clips of scenes that interests me.
