Guys, did i miss some details about Qi Jiu/ Wenqian situation?Spoileeer ahead....Qi jiu seems to focus a lot on…
I'm still at ep 33. The marshal doesn't even know his real identity i don't think claiming his identity is a goal, it's all about bringing tian family down
Same, I think she avoided Li Zhen because she hasn't reckoned with the possibility of hurting her friend in order…
Yup she can't just destroy her family because a girl without family won't be received well in the society. I think her plan was to uphold the family but in her own terms/control.
Anyway, a lot of the comments below already claimed her as a villain while in my opinion there's not enough basis of that. That makes me so uncomfortable, it almost feels misogynistic how eager people are to jump and say she's villain.
am i the only one who doesn't think ronghua is evil?
when she won her family the tribute ink the way i see it it was mainly to show her power to her own family, she even tries to keep them in check (but her brother still went behind her back)
and the way she avoids li zhen, i think it's just because her life in the capital is not pretty. she had to curry favors and got humiliated and she doesn't want li zhen to see her like that or get dragged to that world.
in short, she was just carving out a path for herself to survive. it's not the clean and upright way of li zhen but she's not her father and brothers either.
Everyone... is this drama worth watching? The rating kinda worries me but the number of raters is less than 500…
in my experience the comments aren't reliable. when waiting for new episodes i check comments and they're all complaints so my excitement died down. but then when i actually watch i have fun.
i stopped at ep 14 because the comments here aren't good, saying it's repetitive. but i picked it up again because i was curious how li zhen and uncle jingdong became close.
i'm at ep 21 now and never got frustrated as the comments. i don't find it repetitive by ep 21 nobody in the family even listens to fourth aunt anymore.
maybe because i watch it all in one go. watching it with the schedule made everything feels unresolved
someone in the comments below said li zhen is now buddy buddy with uncle jingdong so i might pick up this drama again to see how that happened because id never imagine that
i think im pausing the watch at ep 14 first. I'll check this comment section every now and then and continue to watch when fourth aunt gets a slap a d grandfather stands up for li zhen
im at ep 12, im not getting any sizzling chemistry between the leads, instead it feels like i am watching two little baby birds getting to know each other making a new friend. it is pretty cute this is not a complaint
the old Lis bonds are so strong and real i cry every time i see them, i feel like even without the tragedy those three wouldn't have such a good relationship
im super uncomfortable that qi jiu's position really put everyone in danger. poor marshal, general, and ajie
