why the fuck did you include the HIStory4 couple ?
I probably would have given this one a higher rating, except for the fact that they forced the HIStory4 couple down my throat again. If I wanted to watch a fucked up relationship about a 7-year-old falling in love with his 15-year-old brother (Yes I know it's step brother I don't care) and then raping him 10 years later, I would have just rewatched HIStory4. I was trying to move past my trauma and you shoved it in my face again ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. I did like the concept of the show though, but Taiwan seriously needs to move past they're weird relationship with older gays and younger gays getting together.Was this review helpful to you?

The cutest and the wholesomest!!
This is probably the most wholesome and adorable BL you'll ever see. There will not be another BL that exists in this universe that can compare to the pure joy that this one radiates. J-dramas just know how to create that cutesy feeling while making you kick your feet and squealing from how precious the characters are. Fair warning it is censored and there is no kiss. if you liked the dramas of "My Love Mix-up (Kieta Hatsukoi)", and "Mr. Unlucky Has No Choice But To Kiss" this one is right up your alley. Abusers and Victims
This series is actually a really good example as to why victims continue to go back to their abusers. The person that they once loved is usually the person that they are remembering and longing for, when they question if they should go back or not. Usually who they're greeted with is that person for maybe like a week or two, and then they go back to their toxic selves revealing who they truly are on the inside. This was exampled by Yi Chen consistently remembering their college years as what he thinks of as their relationship.Was this review helpful to you?

Cinematic Masterpiece
This drama was a beautiful masterpiece on religion. I was a bit surprised at how easily you could have swapped the main characters for a straight couple and the plot wouldn't have changed. Throughout the whole struggle shown between Tanrak and his faith, not once was it explicitly stated that he believed being gay was a sin. He felt like he was sinning because he liked someone who took him away from his faith not BECAUSE he was gay. He felt like he was sinning, because he was choosing to be selfish and walk away from priesthood, not because he was gay. As an ex-Christian who deeply struggled with accepting my feelings while still being in the faith, I really would have loved to see them show how Christianity believes gayness is a sin, and how that can cause internal turmoil. I also would have really loved to see Tanrak struggle to accept his own feelings more, rather than the pain come from him feeling like he was sinning and because he was questioning being a priest. But maybe that's just my Western perspective, maybe Christianity in the East really doesn't demonize queerness as a sin. Either way, this was a beautiful portrayal of emotion and everything about this drama is absolutely top-notch.Was this review helpful to you?
a KBL that rivals The Eighth Sense
As someone who has seen over 200 BL's, I truly don't understand the hate for this drama. Immediately I fell in love with the beautiful cinematography and the stellar performance by both actors. The emotional depth portrayed throughout the series was phenomenal and I loved the way that the audience remembered with him as his memories came back. Was it a perfect series? No series is perfect. However, I truly believe that it was on par with series such as Hwang Daseul's works and The Eighth Sense. The subtlety in each emotion portrayed was a great parallel for the anxiousness throughout the drama.*a note to those who think this drama was not worth the time that you spent watching it, please keep those comments to yourself as I would like this director to keep making more dramas and have funding for them and not get ruined by one star ratings XD
