I unfortunately think this is going to be the new GMMTV quality. I don't think we're going to ever get anything like The Eclipse, DBK, or Not Me anymore. There's just too many couples for them to focus good money and time on a stellar story.

You have to keep in mind that there are a lot of people who are unable to see the abuse until they've successfully escaped from it, and sometimes they still go back because there remembering a person who wasn't toxic before. Now this show was also too much toxicity for me too lol.

the English subs on all of the vertical series on iQIYI are AI generated which is why the translations aren't always accurate, tend to use incorrect pronouns, and they sometimes use Chinese names.

This is EXACTLY how I felt after watching this drama. As someone who has quite a lot of religious trauma of my own, I really felt like it was just glossed over and that everything was sunshine and daisies in the end. I would have loved to see Tanrak really fully struggle with his feelings and his faith more than he did.

I definitely agree that there are other years that may have more that are watched in general, but I mainly meant that this was the year that really set in stone the popularity of BL today, especially in the Thai industry with GMMTVs new ships and Kinnporsche. I also have seen more from this year than other years, so I could be biased of course. XD
