Finally, i finished watching it. After 36 episodes, i lost all my excitement for this drama 🫤 In my opinion, it became flat towards the end, and everything felt rushed just to wrap things up. In the end, i just sped through it 😅
As the final episodes approached, i started wondering—what was the point of the Nanwu tribe ? They didn’t even have a battle with the Zhou dynasty. Was the Nanwu tribe even part of the novel’s story ? It felt like they were just there as filler, without any real meaningful involvement
Aaaand the most frustrating part was the ending of the Royal Princess! I feel like she got off too easily, just dying like that after all the crimes she committed. She should have been kept alive, tortured, and exiled until she realized and regretted everything, ugh 🙄 then, why was she posthumously granted the title of Royal Princess for "protecting the emperor"? Was it just to cover up her rebellion ?
Oh well, at least ZWY and JT's acting made up for it
I can tell who is watching Tencent vs who is watching iQiYi anytime some comments about one character. Tencent:…
I mix it up😃 For express episodes, i watch on iQiYi because i subscribed to iQiYi's VIP premium, so i don’t have to pay extra like on WeTV 😒 But for subtitles, i prefer WeTV's
I must have missed it. What is the meaning/ significance of barefoot ghost?
I also looked up the meaning of barefoot ghost, and based on what i've read, the figurative meaning of barefoot ghost in chinese culture is associated with certain Taoist and Buddhist beliefs about spirits and the afterlife. It can be interpreted as a wandering spirit that has lost its way or is linked to sorrow, suffering, or unrest. That's why the fake Taoist priest spread the rumor about the barefoot ghost haunting the FL, as it was believed to bring misfortune or disaster upon the family.
So far, i like the plot in these 6 episodes, and i'm enjoying it. I also like the intensity between the ML and FL >,< Oh, don’t forget the acting of the actress who plays the FL’s mom! Wow, i feel like i’m watching a horror drama LOL This actress is really perfect for roles like this!
Hopefully, today’s express episode comes out so i can finish watching it faster. I’m so fed up with the Grand Princess acting like a victim—she’s a total psychopath 🤯
And towards the end of the episode, for some reason, my excitement for this drama has faded, so now i just want it to finish quickly. 😆
What's with the character switch up Yu Jin would NEVER move the way he did in ep 32 especially when it comes to…
Maybe because it's only four days before the wedding, he’s in a rush since there’s no time left 😆 But aside from that, i really liked ZWY’s acting in that scene
Towards the final few episodes ahhh. I'm panicking. Please HE 🥺🥺
It looks like it will have a happy ending. I saw a short video on their official page showing a ceremony where the ML and FL are crowned as the emperor and empress
Here’s the list of Wuxia and Xianxia dramas i watched from 2023 to 2025 😃 :- Lost You Forever S1 & S2 (2023…
Since i'm a fan of TJC, i'm a bit biased 😆 You can give it a try. The drama is about solving cases in a detective-like style. Honestly, i was annoyed with the FL's character, but she got better towards the end—though the ML was still way too nice. But since i enjoyed the humor and TJC's acting, i watched it till the end. You might like it if you enjoy comedy because TJC is absolutely hilarious in this drama 😆
Please y'all which cdrama can you recommend please 🥺 2024 or 2025 not new days. Please 🥺 Currently watching…

I felt so satisfied watching the scene where YQ shouted right in his mom’s face, pouring out his heart—it felt so relieving! 😃 So annoying that his biological mom acts like a stepmother 🤨
The teaser for episode 34—they’re finally getting married! btw, if you think about it, ZWY has had way too many wedding scenes 😆
I really like the duo of ML and Zhen. Bruh why does every episode ends with like a cliffhanger
Me too ! They’re so cute. In episode 25, the scene where Zhen pretended to give a gift to flatter YQ was really funny. I watched it and was like, "What is Zhen even doing?!" LOL 🤣
Watching episode 16 felt like i was on a treadmill at 2x speed 🤣 The case plot wrapped up so fast, no process at all. Suddenly they’re here, then suddenly at the kidnapping site, and then—boom—already rescued 😆 What’s even weirder is when YQ sneaked into the hut to save JS. Hmm… YQ’s jump looked like he just jumped off a chair 🤣🤣
Ugh, I keep complaining about the editing in every episode—OMG, it’s getting worse 😩
Uugh, one episode per day is torturing me ><
