I’m very invested in the slow burned love of YL and MXY, however the anti climax ending of ep 30 is really frustrating.…
I feel the same as you. I actually haven't watched Episode 30 yet on purpose because I was waiting for today's Episode 31, so i could sleep peacefully afterward. LOL 😆🤧
At least now i can watch Episodes 30 and 31 back-to-back and get the full emotional damage in one go ðŸ˜ðŸ’”
if the divorce will really happen i will not continue to watch this drama. The Fl didn’t deserve everything,…
Personally, i don't mind the divorce plot since the story needs some angst too. Besides, the drama has 40 episodes, so I don't think it's a problem. So far, it looks like that plot only lasted for one episode today.
And judging from tomorrow's preview (Episodes 31–32), everything seems to be fine again for the our couple
Ahhh, starting tomorrow, there’ll only be one episode per day airing until Saturday 🥹. And on Sunday, we’ll finally get the Express episodes 💜
Hmm, I think it’ll start around Episodes 28–29. Based on the calendar schedule posted on their Weibo account,…
In an interview I watched with Bai Lu and Cheng Lei, Bai Lu talked about a scene she found particularly memorable, and she specifically mentioned the divorce letter scene. So it seems that there really will be a divorce storyline in the drama
when d o you think what esp is divorce going to happen?
Hmm, I think it’ll start around Episodes 28–29. Based on the calendar schedule posted on their Weibo account, Episodes 28–29 feature an image that looks like an imperial decree. So I’m guessing that’s when the decree is finally revealed, which also lines up with the divorce letter storyline getting closer. 🤔
i would like to read you opinion guys I've seen many people or theories saying that the male lead loves the female…
I’m 100% convinced that Ye Li’s feelings for Mo Xiu Yao are genuine love, not guilt or a sense of obligation.
In one of Bai Lu and Cheng Lei’s interviews, Bai Lu mentioned that Ye Li had already fallen for Mo Xiu Yao when he saved her eight years earlier. She also said that when Ye Li found out she had received the imperial decree to marry him, she was actually happy because he was the man she wanted to marry in the first place.
As for the promise she made to Mo Xiu Yao’s older brother, that came afterward. Ye Li only began fulfilling that promise step by step after her marriage was arranged.
tbh, the last two episodes were already starting to test my patience because the plot felt dragged out and unnecessarily lengthy. I even found myself fast-forwarding through certain scenes, which is something I had never done before with this drama.
Maybe it’s because we’re getting close to the end, yet there are still so many unanswered questions and I’m getting even more confused about the whole Shin Seo Ri/Kang Dan Shim soul theory. But oh well, I’m still watching it and enjoying it anyway 😛
Why did the FL hire assassins to hurt her? Also, what's going on with her and the SML? What did she do to her?
The FL hired an assassin to target herself because she was actually scheming for the ML’s sake.
She wanted the ML to feel that, because of his injured leg, he was unable to protect or help his wife when something happened. As a result, she believed he would be more willing to let her treat and heal his leg. That way, if a similar incident happened again in the future, he would be able to protect her himself.
That’s basically her plan.
As for the FL and the SML, the FL blames the SML for the death of their fellow disciple from Mount Li. The full details of what happened haven’t been revealed yet, so we’ll have to wait for the upcoming episodes to learn more. 🙂
why is he in a wheelchair 24/7 and not on crutches?? seem like his leg just got damage during the war not like…
In Episode 4, during MXY's POV, the narration explains what happened while he was in prison. It says that when MXY returned to the capital to report to the Emperor, his leg was not treated right away, and the authorities did not have a physician examine it either. As a result, his injured leg was left untreated for half a year during his imprisonment, which caused the condition to worsen. In the end, he could no longer use that leg.
That person hasn’t appeared physically like Qing Shuang yet (maybe they will later).
During the conversation between Ye Li and Commander Li (who was revealed to be a fellow disciple from Mount Li as well) after they visited the graves, Commander Li asked Ye Li about one of their fellow disciples (I forgot the name). After Ye Li responded as if that fellow disciple was still alive, Commander Li’s expression briefly looked surprised—or maybe concerned.
That’s when I started to suspect that the fellow disciple they were talking about had actually passed away too. The way Commander Li reacted made it seem like Ye Li wasn’t aware of the reality.
After all, most of the people from Mount Li are either dead or missing
I’m really enjoying the first five episodes so far, especially Episode 4. MXY’s POV and his narration about Ye Li were just so cute 😆
I’m also curious about Ye Li. It seems like she might be struggling with some mental health issues as well (?) since she imagines and talks to her maid and a fellow disciple who has actually already passed away. (I honestly thought Qing Shuang was a ghost at first 😅)
Hopefully we’ll get to see the two of them working together soon. Right now, they’re both still focused on carrying out their own revenge plans
I’m so excited and can’t wait for it! 😆 I’ve been watching their adorable BTS videos and all the trailers while waiting. I’m also really happy that Cheng Lei’s voice isn’t dubbed by a voice actor. 🥹💕 I just hope the plot won’t disappoint! 🤞✨
After that ending scene in Ep.10 where Shin Seori and Cha Segye’s grandfather got hit by a truck (HOLY SHIT, I literally gasped) and after watching the Ep.11 preview, I only have one thing to say:
Such a shame it’s only 8 episodes 🤧 that’s my only disappointment. They could’ve added at least 2 more episodes to extend the story—like the wedding preparations and their coworkers’ reactions when they receive the wedding invitation 🤧
I actually haven't watched Episode 30 yet on purpose because I was waiting for today's Episode 31, so i could sleep peacefully afterward. LOL 😆🤧

And it’s exactly when the episodes are getting super climactic too 🤧

I think that's probably why.
