From my perspective, the subtitles on iQIYI and WeTV are more or less the same. And WeTV’s subtitles aren’t AI translations since this drama is officially from Tencent. For resolution, I prefer iQIYI because they provide 4K (I have a premium subscription, so I can watch it in 4K).
What i don’t like about iQIYI is that they also translate the BGM songs, so the subtitles overlap with the dialogue and sometimes cover the actors’ faces.
WeTV is better in that regard because they don’t translate the BGM songs, so the subtitles don’t overlap. Plus, i can read the viewers’ comments too, and some of them are really funny xixixi 😆
