Waiting for new episodes feels so long 😭😭 I love it more with every episode, and I’m falling harder for this CP too 🔥

and good news. The Tencent heat index has already reached 29,000, and the rating here has even risen to 8.9. Hopefully it will reach 30,000 soon — wow! If it does, this will be director Zeng Qing Jie’s second successful drama after previously directing only short dramas. Well deserved! 🎉🎉

Ahhh I’m love this drama more and more 😍😍 I also really like this CP, especially when they fight side by side and support each other — so badass. I can’t wait for the next episode 🥹🥹

Btw, I’ve seen people debating whether ZLH is dubbed by a voice actor in this drama or if it’s his own voice. Personally, I think it’s a mix. In some scenes the voice doesn’t sound like ZLH and feels a bit softer, but in many other scenes it clearly sounds like him and his very distinctive tone — similar to the dramas where he dubbed himself (My Journey to You, Story of Kunning Palace, Love’s Rebellion, and The Best Thing).

I’m quite confident about this because I watched those four dramas and also several of his variety show appearances. That’s why I feel like this drama might be using a combination of his real voice and a voice actor.

I also saw a few clips, especially the scene where the FL sees the ML with his ex while she’s doing archery. In that scene, the ML wasn’t doing anything with his ex at all—he was just standing beside her at a distance, simply watching her shoot. But the FL got mad at him because she was overthinking and imagining things.

And the ML replied, “It’s not what you think !” in such a soft, gentle, resigned tone, with sincere teary eyes. Aaah, it totally reminded me of Nan Heng because LYN’s expression there was exactly the same 😆

From that alone, i could already tell the ML’s character is really, really kind—like genuinely a total green flag!!!

I saw some Chinese fans posting panels from the manhua of this drama on XHS, and I read a few of the ones they shared.

There’s one scene that seems to be when the ML proposes to the FL. In that scene, it reveals that the ML actually already knew from the beginning that the FL was testing him about the women who approached him, because she was afraid he might be a player.
It also touches on the FL’s past.

And guess what the ML’s answer was?
He said, “How could I possibly be angry just because you love me?”

Chinese fans said that Xiao Bei’s character is really a total green flag — smart, thoughtful, and devoted. well, this character seems perfect.

So it seems like the ML doesn’t actually have some kind of special mission to take revenge on the FL for what she did in the past or anything like that.
It’s just that he’s really a green flag character, not because he has some hidden motive 😅

But!! It’s okay — what matters is that it’s a happy ending, and that’s more than enough to make me happy. At least when they returned to the modern era, the ML and FL got to see each other face to face 😆 unlike other transmigration dramas.

well pretty simple. The consorts used to cling to the Empress Dowager for backing. But now that she’s kind of collapsing, the consorts feel their safety net is gone. That’s why they’re starting to gather around Wanyin and act nice to her — because the Emperor loves her. So if anything happens, at least they’ll be safe

I laughed so hard at the scene where Eunuch An disguised himself as the Emperor, and the Empress Dowager was also so funny. I completely lost it at the part where Eunuch An held her paralyzed head to keep it steady LOL. But yeah, she deserved it — getting killed would’ve been too easy. At least now she has to actually feel the suffering LOL.
