i really love this series, but i think it is kinda wrong to show that Lal sacrifices everything all the time..…
LOL have you met fandom??? "The world revolves around my favorite and no one else" has been a staple for years.

the only part im kinda finding hard to digest is that its always Lal who gives in. its never the other way around.…
Oh I disagree. Wine is very obviously trying with Lal, it's just subtler because Wine as a character is more reserved about these sorts of feelings and way more worried about what other people will assume of her based on what is happening. But like, take the last ep. Lal tried to apologize and Wine very firmly told her she wasn't the problem and admitted that Wine herself was. I get feeling more in Lal's corner because this show is kind of in her POV so her feelings are in our faces more (so to speak), and her personality type means that she is more open about it, but I also see that Wine is trying too.

Oh let me guess - HSF people were mad it wasn't explicitly BL. LOL. I am lucky I guess in that I watched the OG…
Eh I do get it to a point - so often bromance does this horribly cringey "no homo" thing that is almost insulting, like it's some horrible fate for people to think that you might be gay. In the same token I don't think having a ship be explicit canon is the end all be all of watching, and I feel like if a show has interesting themes to explore then I'm happy enough. But then again I come from a time period when most gay stuff *was* subtext, and there always had to be plausible deniability.

I am grateful that BL has become slightly less taboo in this day and age. I remember when openly admitting you watched that kind of thing would get you ostracized and treated like a freak because ew gay people. But I
also think that it being more normalized DOES mean that some people no longer feel satisfied with subtext, and want anything they perceive to be even a little bit homoerotic to be explicit or else it isn't good enough.

On the whole, though, I'd rather have that than people acting like queer media is a horrible disease.

ETA I shipped Saint and Shin hard, admittedly. But also I was fine with canon. Maybe it's that coming from a time when a gay ship was never canon that makes it easy for me not to mind as much, idk.

I have to admit that watching the mock trailer I was interested only for SkyNani because I really loved them in HSF...but this has got me. I love the themes they are exploring with neither of these guys feeling like they fit in or like they are worth anything for very different reasons, and sort of giving each other a reason to keep going. Pete's frank admiration of Niran is showing him that he can do this, that his grandfather was wrong (although I firmly believe he was just mad when he said he wasn't Wu, not that he meant it), and from the outside he can see that people do love Niran and count on him and want him to count on them, and he has a chance of making Niran believe it because he is so outside of Niran's past and his issues. And Niran giving Pete a reason to take care of himself. I love that now Pete's life is explicitly tied to Niran's so he's forced to care about it because he cares about Niran. I don't think Pete is in a place where he can care about himself for himself, but caring about himself for Niran might be a gateway to that.

I also really love Fei, and how they are explicitly tying her being trans to what she is doing now. I don't think that it always has to be front and center, especially not if the actress isn't into it, but I love that here she is tying herself to a politician specifically to make life better for people like her.

There's just a lot of meat in this show and I am *here* for it.

You know a show is doing amazing when both the haters and the fans are following every step of the way. It was…
Oh let me guess - HSF people were mad it wasn't explicitly BL. LOL. I am lucky I guess in that I watched the OG (School 2013) so I knew what was in store, but I think it was really well done and very obvious that Saint and Shin were each other's most important person, and they didn't even bother with any real romance (fun fact, I heard that the Korean version was queer coded on purpose (the lack of het romance was very deliberate, for example), don't know if that's just hearsay though).

I do think that the SkyNani bromance ship has a shelf life (people are gonna want them to shit or get off the pot eventually, to be vulgar), but currently I'm having fun.

That means Pete beat their asses last time so their worst fear is Pete himself idk why but it's kinda funny to…
They love him but they worry that deep down he thinks of them as fodder. Good times :D

This show is so damn charming. I learned that they really prioritized the actresses' comfort and listened to their input and imo it really shows. I also really love how this seems to be very keen on showing things from *their* perspective, which I love. It really feels like we're in the perspective of women and dealing with some of the things that women in the workplace have to deal with (men insisting Proud is faking her PMS symptoms, everyone thinking Wine is only getting ahead in life because she's pretty, the way that most of the men seem to think they can say and do whatever because they're men). I did not expect this but i love to see it.

they'll probably change their mind like they did with girl rules when they realise no inter fans can even watch…
Maybe. I don't mind if they don't, I will find a way to watch so long as it's subbed.

So this won't be on youtube after this?

That's too bad really. I will still be watching but I will miss being able to watch live, it's so much fun.

that is her apartment, it has the same door. and it hasn't said they live together or not, they probably do because…
Yes I think it's very likely Min moved in with Prim after breaking up the with BF. Probably it's supposed to be a temporary arrangement while she finds somewhere new to live.

Why the hell did they start geoblocking!? I live in Germany and was weirded out at first that I couldn't watch…
Because a streaming service bought the rights, is my guess. Almost every time one of these shows gets geoblocked that's why.

How did Prim take the cake out the bin in such pristine condition? Does she plan on eating it?
Lol meanwhile I knew from how she gently set it in there that she'd be going back for it.

Ok please don't tell me SandRay will keep popping up, I've had enough of them is S1! Most annoying couple ever.…
I think that if you're solely watching for Boston you're going to be disappointed.

It matters, shows like 'Duang with You', started at 8.2 and now cruising smoothly at 8.7.I'm scared for this one.
Why? It's not like they're gonna cancel it because of a rating of 7 on MDL, not when it's doing numbers everywhere else.

Can anyone tell me why it’s not on WeTV?? And no uncut version??I know I’m gonna get hate, but I don’t like…
Gagaoolala bought the rights to it, so that is the service that will be streaming it in certain countries. And the youtube version and the gaga version is the same, there is no "uncut" version. It might be edited for TV in Thailand but not on the streaming services.
