It's not just here, but 100% agree. I do NOT like Ray and it's because I have dealt with people like him before. He's self destructive and he WILL take other people down with him.

Everyone has been going on about how meeeean everyone is to Ray but this dude has not lifted one finger to help with the hostel, gets drunk at any and every opportunity which forces his friends to then find a way to get him home (and this is a regular occurrence), was awful to a dude he didn't even know from moment one simply because his crush liked him, and used another dude over and over and over despite dude asking him repeatedly not to (and he's gonna keep on next ep too).

Like has anyone stopped to think his friends are just fed up with trying? He's been doing this for at least two years with all of them, maybe more. And Sand ain't gonna save him either - he might have his own complexes around wanting to play hero but it's not gonna work and he's gonna wind up damaged and disillusioned but hopefully still mostly together. And Ray will just go back to Mew or move on to the next one because until he helps himself he can only be a user.

All of these people are 22, but Ray is the only one who gets any leeway from people and it is tiring.

I mean, yes. I agree. I'm not Ray's biggest fan in general lol.

1. YES he was and I loved it. I have no clue why he likes Ray tbh, the show hasn't done a decent job establishing that for me. My guess is you're right - he's primed to need to take care of people because that's how he knows to love. I'm starting to wonder if the ex was a drinker, too.
2. My hope is that the ex comes back and fucks shit up royally. Because it seems obvious to me that Sand still has deep feelings for them.

4. I love Boston. He's honest even if he's a dick about it. Like someone pointed out that Nick still took Boston home or went home with him because nothing Ray said was a surprise. Boston has never pretended Nick was his only. I do wonder why Boston was so upset at the end though.
5. I don't think people do. I think people think that *Sand* is good for *Ray* and they don't really care if it goes the other way.
6. Oh he's totally gonna take Top back. And then he'll very likely break him on purpose. My guess is revenge cheating.

Not from everyone, but yes, some of the characters will get character development for sure.

Love...maybe Nick and Boston out of the current couples, probably Ray and Mew out of those that aren't together (yet).

Hard disagree. It was to hurt Sand. He is the one continually reducing their relationship to money, whether it be the friendship or...anything else. It's even more hurtful when the one thing Sand *has* been clear about with him is that he doesn't want to be bought.

Lol I was never a shipper. I've been saying it's all gonna end in disaster and probably RayMew since like, day 1.

Yeah but he also hacked into Boston's phone and left a thirst pic, kept the password, hacked in again to download his contacts...and made the recording in the first place. Sand might have been the one to use it for nefarious purposes but he wouldn't have been able to without the efforts of Nicky boy.

Eh I think he was doing it for Top's benefit and lbr, Ray will run back the second Mew crooks his finger so it's not like he's wrecked anything there (I don't think Mew thought of it that coldly but I do think he figures he can just explain to Ray later when he's sober and not trying to spill tea that Mew has very specific plans for).

We have the BostonNick confrontation scene, the Sand and Nick confrontation scene (my guess is both of these might be next ep though), Sand and Ray in the bath (next ep too is my guess), Ray screaming at Sand that his life has only gone to shit since they met (I say ep 8 latest), Sand breaking plum jars and Alan screaming (TM) on his floor (same ep as previous), Ray telling Sand he doesn't get to just walk out of his life (not sure tbh I'm not sure at this point WHAT would make Sand walk away).

We know for sure the yeet into the pool is coming next ep (can't wait, can't wait).

Well he might do in the end (and more power to him honestly) but no. No that whole reveal was entirely using Ray's feelings against him to get at Top. Totally manipulative, I adore him for it don't get me wrong but he was not being nice in any way there.
