Episode 7, we get to see a glimpse of ju a and si jun's relationship. Ju a's "way of loving," at first it felt unfair, how could you not be frank and tell him. But then the scenario shifted to the brothers, then that kind of love was intensified. That way of loving, where in you deny some of you because you love that person. It seems unfair and selfish, but it is still in the name of love. Or maybe it works in family, but is not reserved for couples.. just laying it out here until I unravel my knots of thoughts :)
I am at episode 7. I originally wanted to finish this before commenting, but I am just so in tune with the drama that I had to pause and write. I watched the first episode hoping that this will not be an obs version 2. Seeing choi woo shik did not help, but eventually, my eyes followed more on mubee and gyeom became a completely persona than woong. I admit, the first 2 episoded did not hook me because I had a lot of unknown expectations. I was waiting for this for so long that when it was on my grasp, I wallowed to my disappointment. OBS was branded as slow and I understand it here. But as the episode unfolded, things got more interesting. Characters were peeled out. We get to see relevant scenes in our daily lives, we get to think of the other person in our lives trying to guess if they had hurt us unintentionally because they were dealing with life. And this was what OBS made me feel, and what my favorites made me feel. I am anxious to not have the happy ending, just like in OBS, but in the writer, I trust :)
For anyone asking, this is a good binge. And it gets better because this is very rewatchable. so you can do it…
The storytelling is superb :) The intro in every episode is the present/future and it is as if Gaku is relieving the past or the "now". We get to see a glimpse of the "future" but we are mainly focused to enjoy the now.. this is more like fantasy and very anime driven where luck is the greatest strength of the main characters, but this definitely a great find and a great rewatch to pass time for the next find ;)
