thank you for this, I enjoyed it until the end. also all those drama references always get me.
Now my take on the ending... Being a great at something, to the point of receiving comments at being natural at it (somehow), but also pursuing something which you have failed constantly and those lingering feelings that haunts oneself to pursue it until the end.
He survived being a CEO because of his kind heart and his acting skills. Sure, he studied hard, of which he did just like any other roles he got. He can lead people a whole company with the help of AI President, but will he keep being fulfilled if he kept his temporary job as President until the real President wakes up? Is he willing to dedicate his youth to developing Baro and self-driving cars?
Talents, abilities and desires, passion, are not always parallel. It sometimes intersect leaving you a short, yet sweet time, and eventually you get to choose a path where you go forward with.
So my conclusion would be, I am satisfied with In Seong, keeping his 2 billion won and continue pursue acting, while still keeping touch with Silver Lining people.
P.S. I am open for correction if I have misinterpreted things...
Rewatching this for the nth time and it is mainly because of the drunken scene where in she asks him "how to be loved by your crush," and he answers "just be yourself!"
and you know what, I just realized that the ending is not that the crush fell for her, but by being herself, she attracted a guy had eventually ended up on mutual feelings, versus her one-sided crush. So one moral is that be yourself, you might or might not charm your crush, but the sure thing is, you will attract the right person who will love you for who you are, therefore, will not exhaust you.
dropping by to say I miss our Tae Yang - Tae Joon twins. Currently watching Forbidden Marriage and Unlock My Boss, and i miss them in one screen together.

Episode 16 intro - I can relate to Ung. I am not living a borrowed life but I feel like I don't deserve anything in the life I am living right now. I had it good, and hypocritically, I feel scared that I will be robbed of it one day and without anything I have now, I am worthless and empty.
I am just putting anything here.. YeonSu "I thought my life was pretty dull. But, actually, I've always had pretty good moments. The only person who made my life seem pathetic... was just me."
episode 12 in rewatching, gahhhh, the friendship of two Ungs though.. I really did hope that there was no love…
introduction of Episode 15, Ji-Ung-appreciation-post his story is an example of a child, observing the world as he grows up, painfully learning that it can be unfair because life is different for everyone. his character portrays how he understands the world around him and therefore owns up his action, and thankfully did not go into the villain route. He saw how others can be happy (Choi Ung, and the classmate of his in HS) and he respects that, he does not make others pity him nor let them feel empathy towards him. He embraces his situation and is careful not to cross that border.
Ji-Ung, I volunteer to watch a documentary about you, I want to delve into your mind :)
"guard"
