Yihang and Sisi are my favorite couple, and all of the other couples are cute as well - honestly best season in terms of friendship and stability, but is it just me who’s a little bored and wondering what the next episodes will have if everyone’s mostly together? 💀 if it’s more Yuer and hewen drama I’m honestly kind of tired of it.
when this season started I could not wait for every episode and was super excited, easily seeing it as the best season so far (and I still think that’s true, even though there was a lot of initial flak on everyone not looking handsome/pretty enough for the show). now I’m honestly a bit bored, is it just me? and don’t get me wrong, I am not a fan of those fake dating shows where there’s constantly drama and the couples don’t even end up together irl afterwards. but it just feels a little strange and like something’s missing rn…
best season ever 🥺love how everyone is so friendly and family in this show. even if people have the same love interest, they are respectful to each other and open about it rather than hiding it. there are no “villains” in this show.
my favorite couple ever is Sisi and Yihang. they are soooooooooooo freaking cute and went from being the shyest to the ones having some of the most romantic and cute scenes (THE SWING SCENE??? ASDFFHFKGKFKG&/);$2$;). I love the other couples too, Bohan and xingxing, fanglang, hewen and Kaiyi, etc.
each new member that has joined made me wary at first, but their personality was so sweet that it’s just impossible not to root for them. xiaoyu concerned me because I didn’t want Yihang to stop focusing on Sisi (she is my favorite, and she’s so shy that i was worried no one would see her charms), but the respectful way in which she supports all the women especially meng is just so sweet. she also doesn’t lead anyone on and I loved how her and Yihang closed each others chapters / interests in each other while wishing them both the best. I was similarly worried when Sisi’s twin joined that Sisi would get overshadowed, but they were so supportive of one another and so sweet and different in their own ways.
this season is amazing at respectfully being upfront about feelings, reciprocated or not. I was worried it would be hard to outdo season 8 since everyone had a cool personality and there was a lot of interesting drama in that season, but this is light years better because everyone is so kind to each other, happy, upfront, and multiple couples instead of ppl focusing on one guy or girl.
I can’t believe half of the season is already over 😭😭😭😭 I’m gonna miss this show for a year until the next season and have no idea what l I’ll do once it’s finished. I’m so happy that it looks like at least 4 CP for sure will date irl and can’t wait to see more cute moments of Yihang and Sisi dating in the next episodes (making and flying a kite together, the dinner date, and possibly more like the zoo or rollercoaster or jet skiing or Thailand etc etc). I love watching Sisi open up and be brave and suggest cute romantic things like swinging together or teasing Yihang and him giggling and blushing from the eye contact.
I love watching the cast react to the episodes so genuinely (yihan giggling, Bohan grinning, hewen/xilun positivity, yiheng jokes). I love how they acknowledge upfront that the women are more brave in taking the first steps, I think not having an ego and being able to admit that is commendable.
I was concerned everyone in this season would go after yuer and that it would be boring, plus all the complaints about the cast not being good looking (tbh everyone looks so good to me, esp Yihang and Sisi and Bohan and xingxign). but this season has been so amazing and I DONT WANT IT TO END. way to go heart signal for showing genuine relationships, deep convos, and true romance <3
the dynamic is so great that I wonder how catfishes would influence it. I wonder if any more men or women are joining, who will be interested in them, and etc!

Dropping this show for now at least because watching Sisi struggle to open up and get very little romantic interest from the guys is not fun at all. I was only watching because I was interested in her story. Now that everyone is saying she will leave early, I see no other couple worth watching.
Yihang had an interesting personality with Sisi, I like how he took the lead with her in a very subtle and calm way, but now he looks like he's wrapped around the new girl's finger.
Bohan was also interesting before he met Yuer. As soon as he met her, he got very evasive with Kaiyi (but it seems like her and Yiheng are locked in anyway) and got way too fixated on Yuer, not even bothering to interact with others. Now that she keeps rejecting him indirectly, he seems to be more laid back and funny, but I heard that Sisi's twin will become his love line.
Yihang and Bohan are both gonna have love lines where the woman made most of the moves in showing interest/effort first, and while it's not a bad thing, it is not my personal taste at all to see the women have to show more of the initiative and then the guy follows along like a puppy.
Personally, unlike the Heart Signal 8, this season seems to lack a lot of chemistry and excitement in my opinion. I know HS8 ended on a bad note, but the episodes were more intriguing. Here the love lines seem pretty predetermined and led by the women.
The Kaiyi x Yiheng pairing does not interest me much because it seems like the future episodes will just be them getting to know each other more. Yihang and the new girl, Bohan and Sisi's twin, Hewen and Sha Yuer (and maybe Xilun), all seem to have predictable interactions. Anyways, just my thoughts

I really hope she finds a happy ending and if not, well, there will be someone better for her outside of the show. I really am only interested in watching for Sisi, so if she leaves the show that will make me drop it. I hope there might also be a new male participant who will join! Or hopefully Yihang/Bohan/Hewen have a date with her!
Honestly not very excited for Sisi's twin to join, I'm worried Sisi will be completely overshadowed just because the other twin has a more outgoing personality. She is already not getting much attention from the guys and this is just gonna potentially make things worse. I am only interested in this season because of Sisi and her potential love line/story. He also does not give Sha Yuer space and gets very moody over it, not bothering to get to know any other girls or at least be respectful and interact with everyone else the way Hewen or others have been doing even if they have an interest. I also found it rather off putting how easily he forgot about Kaiyi just because he was smitten by Sha Yuer's beauty (let's keep in mind he hasn't even really gotten to learning about her personality at this stage, and basically just bee-lined for her at first glance). Some may find it romantic, but I found it rather shallow and revealing. Regardless... I still have to say he is the male cast I am most interested in seeing the storyline for, unless it keeps being Sha Yuer (or even Kaiyi - she deserves Yiheng). I would be interested in seeing him interact with the other female contestants. Yihang's interesting too.
sisi is so cute and sweet and the prettiest girl to me 🥹 i wish the guys would give her a chance, she would be so cute with the guy in green, i also shipped her with bohan at first but he doesnt even seem to consider any girl outside of sha yuer. she may also be cute with the guy who she called a cheetah, he seems kind of like her, softspoken but observant, but again he seems to like sha yuer :\ the other guy in the blue house also likes sha yuer :\ i hope a new guy joins and sees sisi's charm, honestly i am not very interested in the show if the rumors of her leaving are true.
Si Won's so attractive lol, his tag "quiet by day wild by night" + his face card literally being Jinyoung from Got7 + his calm and smiley nature is like an unreal combination, 3 of my top favorite things all in one person. Yet I can't help but feel like no one has brought out an interesting side of him, or his self-expression is very restrained throughout the show. It was interesting to see his sports prowess shine during the game with the other guys, but beyond that I can't really remember much.
Yu Jin is sweet and pretty but honestly I don't see any chemistry with her and Si Won. Ji Hye and Si Won's date falling flat was also a hard watch. And honestly, even his date with Jiseung felt rather bland, but it had slightly more tension, but I feel like that's only because Jiseung is being so posessive over him while simultaneousyly giving mixed signals. It could be the case that he is a very dry person in general, but I just feel like no one has brought our his true personality.
Jiseung and Jinwoo were kind of cute, but again rather bland. Jiseung was iniitally my favoirte girl before the rather fickle and posessive nature, but now it has to be Juhee. I love her lmao, she gets the ick from all these men acting so childish and wanting to follow the leader and be all clingy when its only been a day. She's not afraid to express her likes or dislikes and I really like that about her. She's also so naturally stunning.
Juhan is so easily swayed. Jinwoo needs to stand up and move on and put effort into someone who will reciprocate.

first of all he is the most decent guy out of everyone there. genuinely kind to everyone and mature even if he is younger. some of the other contestants should take notes.
second of all, gyuri was not giving him the reciprocation he deserved. he put a lot of detail and care and attention towards her, and he just gets crumbs of texts back.
third of all, soyoon i initially was not a big fan of, but the way she handled the wooyeol convo??? BADDIE. so well said and secure in herself.
fourth of all, shes genuinely the realest girl and has self respect to move on and be honest. shes funny and creates a good vibe.
fifth of all, i was shipping her ineractions with seowon. so much chemistry in their playful mocking banter. i did not see this couple at ALL, they came out of nowhere and are the best ones so far in my opinion. they have real tension, chemistry, and fun.
as for the others... WY and YG can be satsified with themselves ig but i understand why its awkward for the rest of the house since they all still do live as a group. i know its "everyones on their own" and "find love not friends" but yeah they should make an effort to do their one on one time maybe outside of the house and be more inclusive when theyre in the house. honestly felt tone deaf and a little showy.
the lawyer and seungmin still chasing after YG is frying me. MJ please stand up idk what you see in seungmin. lawyer is at least nice and funny/chill but like... bro shes 10 years younger.

yes i liked it! i was also confused how it would work with the ML being a monk, but somehow the story made it really nice - i think it's because he's kind and still feels emotions and you can kind of understand his thought process. it's a very subtle romantic tension imo, the build-up is slow and the intimacy makes you blush even though it's not outright stuff. towards the end it does accumulate and get more outright and intimate. idk why but for some reason i lost interest towards the end (probably since the yearning was ending). so if you like slow burn, the romance is definitely there!
