This was a good show. My favorite part about this show was the second show in it, it made me interested all throughout and was very good.

What I didnt like is the how the show dealt with sexual assault. In the main story, just like Double Helix it felt like they excused the assualt with “oh but look how much he loves you.” Obviously, this wasnt nearly as bad as double helix but I felt like they shouldnt have included it in this series, it was unecessary and the writers didnt know how to deal with it. And in the second show, i dont like how much they romanticized sa, it shouldnt have been used almost as a kink. I also feel like the inclusion of Justin wasnt necessary.

Also, I didn’t like how dismissive of everyone Zhen Xin was. Like the way he acted didnt feel cool, it just felt plain dumb and reckless and I get that’s his character but his character is also supposed to be nonchalant in a way and he just wasn’t that. Like they acted like they were the only two people in the world and it made me mad because think of everyone else’s hard work that are being put into this show and these two are just ruining it b/c of the scandal. But lowkey I do like how they act because the only toxic trope I like is codependency😃 and it was like that in both the main story and the inner show

lol she def didn’t make them fall in love with her, and she never gave publicity stunt to me

that being said, I didn’t like her because I felt like she didn’t consider herself an eternal single and understand why she’s never found anyone. I guess in a way it felt like she thought she was above them and didn’t really feel like she had any reason for why she’s never dated

I agree, I think the avatar blind dates should have just been for support when the convo fell flat or the singles dont know how to make their heart flutter. It almost gave disgenuine due to hm the spectators interfered

def better production than the last however, i think the dates needed to be more exciting and have cause for heart flutters and also the advantages were lame. They should have stopped with the 5 min library and the safe house was just a waste as it never led to anything.

also I wish they had vetted Taehoon more. He was just a distasteful pick and don’t have a single redeeming quality. Like he genuinely felt like a greasy, bad person to me.

I watched this because I was in the mood for a short bl and even though it was short, it wasn’t missing anything. This show was so good, I literally neglected all my responsibilities just to watch it. This is how a show should be

By heavier themes I meant homophobia, external and internal, rape, toxicity and obsession, and any other presented in the show
And I can appreciate the lingering affect on you, but I just wish you could be more objective and see all of the ways the show is lacking

The characters weren’t complex, they were poorly written. Any actual cinematography lover would understand that. and compared to so many out there with heavier themes, this show doesn’t come anywhere close. Even in production, let alone writing.
