His character is demon , not for beautiful word, but he is.. I don't think story romanticizes abuse relationship because first , when they had such relationship they wasn't in romantic relationship, and also will never be romantic relationship. He wasn't her boyfriend, XY was a man (even if he suspected she is woman), who went on XL territory (which is forbidden) and XY can be killed by XL right away.. but XL let her live for working for him ... And now when they have so much better relationship, he regret it and don't think he can be with her. So I not see how drama shows that abuse or anything like this is romantic or good š

As you said maybe there is people, but how drama purposely shows us XL, it doesnāt feels that he really has anyone, maybe itās his choice (he know his soldiers donāt like him, and FFB friends are jerks) or maybe itās like in real life, when there can be people around you , but you can still feel lonely and donāt have any connection with them. He has connection with XY, because he thought they are the same, and because she never think he is weird as nine heads demon or afraid him

I even can understand why he sabotaging XY relationships with TSJ and XL, because in his eyes one is engaged other is enemy.. he even want XY marry FL, who actually nice guy..
