its probably mean many people didnt like it, nothing can be done there, there many dramas which also where 8 point and later increased 8.6-9

Its very YouKu style, Iqiy mostly very consistent, Tencent also usually give at least some teaser short trailer first.
But I remember last summer Youku released Immortal Samsara trailer and drama at same day, there was zero promotion previously, but tones of leaked videos..

Yep , but I think production company should themselves decide how many episodes they should make, I agree about AOL its also my favorite drama, but I skipped a LOT every time when rewatch it. But AOL novel kinda small, but there a huge novels for example Love Like The Galaxy, which had a lot of characters, and I can't imagine it's shorter then 56 episodes, Im more sad it didn't have more episodes to show other events from the novel.

Yep its true.
Previously government banned drama longer 40 episodes , so last year couple of dramas find way to avoid it, and just split into 2 parts, which aired one after another, so technically it was the same. So now government make new rule that drama can have 2 parts only if there around 6 months between them or no more then 40 episodes.
So as i understand TTEOTM will have 40, but will increase duration of each episode,

I didnt watch RR at all, im super difficult be into any drama last years😭 i love and fully watched only 3 dramas in 2022, and in 2023 its Starry Love and now NBY.. but next week there will ne till the end of the moon, I have high hopes about it))
