Ester is idol, Dylan also was popular after Meteor Garden, I'm actually expected it will be hit after cast and story was announced (they weren't huge stars, but they also wasn't nobody, LBFAD had around 3-4 millions reservations before started airing, BFTB has only 1 million ), I can't say that drama was dark horse, when it has big budget and popular actors 😅😅 dark horse for me dramas similar"Imperial coroner" which doesn't have neither, but still become huge hit. And about traffic stars I actually mean IS 😅 I'm sure that BFTB will be hit, based on trailer it's looks amazing! I just wish this drama has more peaceful airing time, without fanwars , similar to Dream of Splendor and Starry Love.
TTEOTM literally the most expensive YouKu drama so I think it better air at summer at prime time , when Tencent and Iqiy also will air their biggest hits

You named BL dramas , which almost always win. They extremely popular. But even think about last summer LLTG , IS and LBFAD. It's always easier for drama to shine , when there no very serious competition, especially when BFTB doesn't have very popular leads, compare for example Longest Promise or Legend of Anle. Of course if it's good drama it's still will shine, but it also can lost many potential attention. Not to mentioned fanwars between different dramas fans.
