its historical accuracy, my grand grand mothers married at that ages and their husband was older, because that time, man should has job and more experience before marriage, when for woman the most important was marriage and born kids. It was harsh reality.
About LLTG, as I said for ML it was impossible be too young, because he is one of the main general, and for FL too old, because that time be 20+ (and latterly 25+ ) unmarried was very unrealistic, only if something wrong with her.

How it can be creepy, when in real life ML actor even younger the FL?)) they even didn't have any sex, and yep it was totally norm then. ML is army general, he impossible be 15-17 years old

I see many don't existed about JBR, but I'm very happy about it, he is A list actor, who also handsome and very talented. He is not traffic actor and I happy about it, there will be no fight for billing or other stupid things. He senior actor but he don't mind act in female centric drama.
The other most possible choice for this drama was Chen Fei Yu, but producer moved him to "The Sword" (ml centric wuxia), i think he also was good choice for drama, but probably Lusi and him will have other chance work together in future)

Isnt iQiy did him dirty with AT, he worked a lot for that drama (he spent on set more time then ML) but they delete a lot of his scenes, and later used him for promotion

Of course in real life no one will broke up with girlfriend because of school boyfriend from far past, BUT it's japanese drama, and most of Japanese drama should watch not throu logic , but emotions. For me everything is logical.

Second, Minato from the beginning very insecure person , he always felt he second choice for Tsugumi, and he didn't deserve her. And he tried be the most perfect version of himself for her, similar he never was angry or annoyed, he always was in good mood, supportive, do everything for Tsugumi (because he probably felt only that way she will love him) , and yep it's very tiring, and I understand why he wasn't completely happy all that time, it's not about Tsugumi, but his inner problems and insecurities.
