Yep, I understand you, the most thing I hate about sad ending, it when it because of injustice or very bad circumstances (similar you describe)... It made any sad ending much more worse, only one sad ending I can accept from "goodbye my princess" because at least I feel it was justified and result of all leads actions. Japanese anime and movies can be so sad, their every second romance movie about terminal illness😔
