Yep, I don't like military and thriller dramas, and you impossible find my comments under those dramas complain about why there so many war and suspense🤣🤣 even if my favorite actors act in those dramas I will not watch it, same for other dramas which I simply don't like

Writer wrote female centric novel about CSS , her growth and her family and 3 second leads as love interest (in novel she even tried didn't make oblivious who end game for FL)

Amazing director did best job to accurate filmed this novel (add a lot LBY scenes) , author was scriptwriter's consultant. All novel fans love that adaptation and higly satisfied.

Some commentators.. "why it's female story? I don't care about her or her family, I want see ML".... Thats the story, if you don't like you can drop or watch only ML moments, but why need complain about family drama not has to more political, or investigations, or non stop romance moments... I understand that many people can not like it, but I don't understand people expect from this drama other things.. there a lot ML focus dramas (with Wu Lei also)😅

#zhaolusi: at home, my dad really spoils me while my mom’s also one who sets a high demand on me. so since young, we always bicker with each other. just like shaoshang, since i was young, i’ve wanted to leave home and go far away. i’ve fulfilled my dream now but i’m regretting and really wish to return home.

#zhaolusi: there’ll definitely be people who say that (this role is similar to my previous roles) but it doesn’t matter.
(shaoshang) cannot suddenly make you feel like. “oh i can’t tell who is this actress anymore.”
since i act in many shows that are similar so everybody would have seen me in one type of pattern.
actually sometimes i’m also at a loss. when i receive a new drama and role, i’ll “overdo” it and appear like someone who is completely different from before. then the director will say that this character is no longer adorable and that it is no longer enriched.
i think i have to maintain the strengths that i use to possess and add on to the differences of the new character.

It's not filler, it's exactly the main story, if all main story filler for you, you sure this drama for you? It's FL focused story, about her character development, her family and her love life with 3 different male. I'm not come to police thriller drama to complain why that drama so many police investigation, where fluffy romance?? 🤣 This drama exactly same novel and same description))

But FL from Minglan and this one totally different person, CSS personality unruly and wild, since she never was educated, she never had even 1 person, as grandma who can take care of her. You can see how FL act with her third aunty, she speak respectfully with people who respect her. And yep she already saw how her mom biased towards YY and unfair fir her, why she should respect her?

Actors all need to be sensitive. if an actor isn’t sensitive, how will they be able to feel what their character is making you feel and then bring this feeling to the audience through acting. if i didn’t find shaoshang pitiful, or indignant i wouldn’t be able to let everybody else find her pitiful.

Zhao Lusi about CSS: my heart really aches for Cheng Shao Shang. i’ve grumbled about this on set for more than once. i was saying, why is she so pitiful? when she was younger, she didn’t experience parental love and when her parents returned, she still couldn’t feel loved. thereafter, she came across a relationship where everybody thought he was great and excellent. everyone else thought he was perfect and too good for her. so i feel pitiful for a girl to be in that situation; one who never receives love and is always abandoned.
