He had such an impressive character development and HK'a acting made him even more realistic, I literally care what he is doing in this moment lol, if he is happy, how he feels etc.

Hong Kyung is totally not a ml of this drama. He's more of a supporting character.
Main or supporting, HK is doing an amazing job and the character is very realistic and three dimensional. I think this matters the most.

When he started talking and I felt he was about to burst into tears at any second, it broke me too. I mean I have seen really good crying scenes, but its hard to make viewers feel the same. He is really good.

I've never said its cause of the age gap. if there is romantic chemistry I do like age-gap relationships. But here I mean the vibe that I feel between them. Feels like father-daughter, teacher-student, or just really good friends, anything but romance. but like you said: To each their own.
