Because the romance was handled poorly. They also don't end up together. For those reasons, the rating drops.
Sorry, I don't agree with you, even though, Romance is not the main focus in this drama, besides, the second season is on it's way.

No "Lost you forever" and "Guardians of the Dafeng" classified as romance drama?
No no no, it's fine. All drama or anime lovers like to share things with fellow drama/anime lovers, it's totally fine....

Haven't watched "Lost you forever", the later is in the list. I've only included the dramas I have watched.

A lot of Chinese actresses either use that baby voice or are dubbed by a voice actress using it. Normally I hate…
I respect your preference, but it puts a damper on my mood. That's just my take, I was so annoyed that I couldn't help saying it out loud.

I cannot take this anymore !! Esther Yu talks like a 3 year old fluffy kid... Almost every time I skip her drama just because of her Whiney accent and baby like speech. I'm done...

Wow! What a drama! It absolutely left me speechless. It has a total '80s vibe, full of nostalgia and memories of the past. Even with so many characters, it’s beautifully organized. The dialogue and the subtle rush of emotions are completely relatable and truly resonate with me. So underrated !! 8 is very low...

Title Dazzling
Dramas with a countryside or seaside setting always hit the spot. Pretty decent story and fun to watch.

hmm, understandable. It's mot about killing, the plot, I guess, did not resonate with me that much.

Good point, but I still think things are changing—slowly, maybe. Dramas like Mysterious Lotus Casebook, The Ingenious One, Meet Yourself, A Journey to Love, Blossom and Guardians of the Dafeng are breaking the old mold. Yang Yang is just so popular that, as a big fan, I guess I expected more.

To some extent, it's disappointing. The trio beats up the bad guys only to let them flee—even though those villains murder people. The same villains keep coming back again and again with a new scheme, which really angers me.

It is already 2026, yet the quality of dubbing remains so poor. The dialogue mostly fails to sync with the lip movements, which is super annoying.

I’ve watched this drama more than five times, and it still amazes me. The current rating is puzzling; if it drops any lower, I’ll lose faith in humanity😂😂. Every plot and scheme is meticulously crafted, from the start to finish. They don't make dramas like this anymore.
