I actually forgot but it was probably around EP 30 or after. But it was relatively around that part already. There were episodes that FL already suspected Fu Ling was her missing sister. Fu Ling also realized she was the sister on much later episodes already. Her memories were that twig tree that she was always with so when that tree died, her memories of her younger sister and father came back to her.
1. YEEESSSS!!! I love their relationship so much from the first time they met. 😂😂 you'll actually love the FL because SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS. and one of that is getting impregnated by the ML. it's a shocker for him at first since she only wants a baby with the ML (because he's tall and very capable in terms of skills) 2. ABSOLUTELY YES!!! the ML is a chief and skills are assassin level too 3. I would say villains are defeated.
the male disciple of the FL annoys me though because he likes the FL so much but the FL treats him like a younger brother. (he was attention deprived so let's be understanding I guess)
and you'll love the female disciple of the FL. she's has a task to pretend to be a prince (in reality she's a princess).
It's worth it.. You'll definitely enjoy the earlier episodes as well. It's fun! And the main leads are so badass. It's like they are a match made in heaven. Only the FL is in the same combat assasin level as the male lead. So they really are such a good match.
Basically, all the male side characters died.. The disciples of the female lead became husband and wife and nothing was much shown in them after they fought the battle. The female and male lead was shown to be dead but in the end there was a kid around 8-11 years old I think and was asked by the tribe princess who was close with the FL and ML if if his mother's last name was REN because he introduced himself with the NING surname (surname of the ML) and so that princess did think it was the son of the FL and ML. Would say it was an open ending. We dont know for sure if the FL was alive alone and was already pregnant when she was dying or both were alive and had the kid together since nothing was shown much in the end. The last scene was like some sort of memory tribute where everyone's just together riding horses
I personally would say it lacked for an ending but the way to the ending is definitely not happy. Not sure if I am making sense.. Overall, it's a bit open. Again, the way to this so called OPEN ENDING though is what's tragic... The tragic stuff begins around EP 34 or 35. But overall especially on the early episodes, it's incredibly amazing and funny especially with their gang
So.. I decided to watch this after putting off for years and I am so glad i did while I was on a 2 week work break. I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT WATCH THIS SOONER. Let me start off with I knew what the ending was going to be like so watching this series is more of how does one thing lead to another. Or like, how did the ending came to happen kind of a mindset.
What I really liked about this show is the BADDEST GORGEOUS FEMALE LEAD. I may or may not have seen her dramas before (I dont know) but seeing her stunts here and the way she takes control of her life is sooooo damn admirable.
I love Ying as well! She's such a handsome and beautiful ladyyyy.. That FACE CARD... OH GIRL.. I loved the whole squad.. I'M GOING TO REALLY MISS THEM SO MUCH. I really hope I find another series with this kind of squad who goes all out to trusting and caring for each other.

I really love Xianxias or basically just anything as a costume drama whether it's magic or martial arts I want to watch them. I recently finished Moonlight Mystique and really really loved it and got to know that the characters is a sort of spin off from the characters here in ALP. Hence now I've shown interest in this drama and I'm in EP 22. 😂😂😂

Right.. I'm on EP 20 now. HAHAHAHAHAHA. And know now why they had to sort of fell in love in the early EPs. There's so much more that needs to happen I see.
after years of putting this on hold because it felt like I don't know if I'll like it, I'm on EP6 now.
🤣🤣🤣
but why is shang gu and Bai jue acting like a couple now?? what happened to hello, I like you?? 😂😂😂ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I expected for them to start harbouring feelings to each other by maybe the 15th EP but it looks like they caught on feelings on the early episodes already.
Oh God.. They were so lovely and I am giggling and kicking my feet every time they make out and do their spiccccyyy scenes but oh boy.. That one specific episode made me feel like I was violated. Why did that suddenly take a turn as some psychotic obsessed behavior?
I need some spoilers... Who does she end up with? And for the rest of these boys, who do they end up with? Not gonna start first until i know who ends up with who. hahaaha
Okay, now that I am done with this drama.. Let me share my thoughts..
For chinese dramas, I find 40 EPs too long.. I can only watch a few costume dramas that are about 40 episodes (or more) long as long as it kept me engaged all throughout and I can really say this was one of those dramas. The advantage for me supposedly is knowing I watched this (just 3 days ago btw), when it was all fully aired so I can always skip scenes I didnt like or characters I feel like I am not going to spend a few minutes watching on screen but damnn. This drama MADE ME NOT SKIP any scene at all. And I never ever do that. I usually watch interesting chinese costume dramas while it's still airing to keep up with their 2 episode a day pacing and sometimes, I skip episodes because they tend to feel draggy and this has not made me feel like that at all so I am glad I never skipped any scenes!
I kept postponing watching this back then because I thought I might not like it and I hate wasting my time and then regret wasting my time afterwards... But this time, I really fell inlove with both Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng. Not actually just them but to all of the characters here (except for that Lanling sect leader and Zhen Yu).
So kudos for making this girl (with ADHD) stick to this drama til the end. LOL.
I am so happy I watched this while I was taking a few days off at work so I watched it peacefully while at the same time pigging out on foods each day. LMAO.
Man.. I understand Xing Yue.. I do.. but it's soo painful to see Jing Yuan being heartbroken.. :((
nauurrrrrr... I'm so sad seeing Jing Yuan calling Bai Shou as Xing Tue and Bai Shou calling him Fan Yue when she woke up..
also sad to see him leave but then again, this show is different and made sure to highlight despite "reincarnations" these people do not share the same experiences and memories with their deity past selves. and I really think it's such a wonderful approach to this drama.
Man.. they really kinda have such a bad fate.. All 4 of them. Like literally. I'm on EP 33 now and I just cant help but love the 2nd CP. Too bad one's going to end up evil and the other one is a tool to end the evilness. It's tragic but I love it.
Lmfao I've no idea how you felt that they have pride/ego. Like seriously how?! He's just trying to protect her.…
it does felt like they're misunderstanding things because they keep wanting to save each other and nobody's backing down. they purposely "annoy" each other but deep down, they really like each other so that's where I'm at now..
as for the 2nd cp, I'll definitely look forward in their part developing.
