Well in the episode they did say that the story that sou told was the opposite so it was ryo’s story so no it wasn’t sou the whole time actually it was ryo but then sou came and was abusive so she tried to kill him but he didn’t die so he killed his brother who loved nana truly instead

other than that they were filming literally every week ( they even film like 2 days before the actual episode),there is the fact that it is literally a mystery crime drama with A LOT of names and details so this special recap was for people who want to go over what happened and the timeline and murders before the last 3 episode because all the secrets will start to be revealed. so you should be thankful for it they literally went out of their way in their busy schedule to make a recap for the viewers and if you can't like or appreciate the drama a quick friendly reminder: no one is forcing you to watch
