The deceased ones can speak to us... But in a different way.

A short, but a very memorable one. Such a tearjerker 4 me.

This drama tells us the life of Han Geu-Ru, a trauma cleaner, which is someone who cleans the rooms of the deceased.

Took a long time before watching this, as both the synopsis and poster isn't engaging enough as I thought this is a drama about a mortician (like my all-time fav Japanese movie "Departures", you must watch this too if you like Move to Heaven), but I made the right decision to watch this one. I am instantly hooked from the start. Such a heartwarming, meaningful drama (which brought me to tears :"))

I extremely like everything, from how Han Jeong-U, Geu-Ru's dad taught and brought Geu-Ru with his heartwarming ways, the character development of Cho Sang-Gu, Geu-Ru's uncle, the backstories of the deceased, how Move to Heaven worked with all their heart to preserve the memories of the deceased, and how they find the ones they should give the items of the deceased.

P.S. I REALLY want Geu-Ru's classical playlist so bad!!!! Loved how they put Debussy's Claire de Lune, Saint-Saëns' Gymnopedie, Chopin's Nocturne etc. when MTH is cleaning, which are my favorite Piano pieces I play when I'm bored :'')

Draggy and very disappointing ending

Story is okay at first, somehow sweet and cliché, then the main conflict comes in, and is finished after 10 EPISODES. Very draggy and finished in a VERY VERY RUSHED MANNER. The conflict's end and their marriage packed in a whole 1 45-minute episode. I would rather watch a drama which has more conflicts but eacb conflict finished within 2/3 eps, 5 eps is still acceptable, but 10 Episodes? A definite no. And it ends right after the conflict without enough sweet scenes to compensate the watchers.

I don't regret watching this drama tho. The acting and the cast are chosen correctly. The chemistry is there, and they can act. Xing Zhaolin and Liang Jie's acting saved it. The sweet and funny Ansen and Liu Siqi also made it more enjoyable remembering in the 2008 version Ansen doesn't have a loveline(in fact i enjoy this couple more than the main cp). Ost is very good, especially the ending ost 命中注定 by Della丁噹, it keeps spinning around in my head.

I don't plan to rewatch it and I prefer the original one, cause although the story is more absurd and cliché, but the story isn't as draggy as the 2020 remake. I'd rather watch more refreshing and lighthearted ones.

Watchable but not perfect

First Impression: This drama is very short, only 20 20-minute episodes, so I thought that this will be a quick walkthrough. I have seen some thriller-romance drama, so at first i thought the story will be heavier than regular chinese dramas.

Story: A bit complicated but can be understood. Actually the story is not boring. It Has some Goblin touches and supernatural stuffs like immortality. There are sibling issues and badass FL. It becomes a more puzzling as the story goes on. Note: it has both happy and sad ending, but still not recommended for happy-ending seekers as the happy ending doesn't really make sense and the sad ending is more logical.

Acting, Cast, and Production: To be honest, the acting is just acceptable. The chemistry between the main couple is so-so and not sweet enough, and the chemistry is stronger in the 2nd couple. The production is ok. The cast themselves are actually good. The actors picked are actually talented as Song Weilong and Riley are both very successful afterwards. They could've acted better, and they haven't reached their max in this drama.

OST: The thing I liked the best from this drama. I never skipped the Intro and Outro because the OST is very good, and the OST and its usage in this drama are better than many chinese dramas. Perfect.

Overall the story is actually watchable and is a very quick walkthrough as the episodes are very short.

cotton candy and lollipops

Firstly, be prepared fore many comparisons with ggs1 beccause I enjoyed ggs1 and I also like this one.

Story: Time, space, and events are similar to ggs1, just the focus moved from Han Shangyan n Tong Nian to Wu Bai and Appledog, and the sport is not ctf, but battlebots. I used to watch Battlebots since seccondary school, and watching this drama is like a flashback to my school times. Low on angst between Wu Bai and Appledog, but some conflicts between Shen Zhe(Grunt) and Ai Qing. Enjoyed Grunt's romance most, because of the conflicts and it is less exposed. The main couple is exposed almost all the time, and with the less conflicts, it became bit boring in the middle because it's a 38-episode drama. Don't wait for Han & Tong because they don't appear much. Story is more comedic, Wu Bai is more expressive than in GGS1, and more romance-oriented, bcoz GGS1 focuses more on KK, SP, and the ctf industry.

Cast: The best actor goes to Li Yi Tong. She is mature, she can play as a manager and a mature lover who balances work n love.
Hu Yi Tian plays a more expressive character than the one he usually plays. He Is more expressive, comedic, and a good friend.
Supports are good, Wang An Yu again shines with his expressions, xiaomi looks more handsome here then ggs 1 >:), but he has no gf in ggs2...*sad* sadly no demo :(
The actor i don't think is suitable is Solo. His face is just too happy, not like in ggs1 in which solo is a very sad, depressed, melancholic character who always have that dazed, boring, sad face that fits his character. Here the issue about solo, su cheng, and xiao ai isn't taken very seriously, solo looks like he's not stressed, and the team isn't sad when su cheng leaves them. Su cheng looks like happy leaving them, too.
'
VFX: looks like a low budget drama(sorry), the cgi is so simple, the venue is neither as grand as ggs1. the robot cgi looks very cheap. The kk base also feels more like an abandoned house for homeless people, not like ggs1 which the kk base feels so like home.

OST: some reused ost from ggs1, new osts are also good.
+points: the battle is longer, so the struggle is more real, not like ctf where each battle is only in seconds. But the teamwork isn't as good as ggs1 because it's more of a personal game.

gonna rewatch some good scenes.

Not the mainstream Chinese Drama.

Story : This one is a not-so-mainstream reality-to-novel drama. A bit boring at first 2/3 eps, I literally took a 6 hour nap after first 3 episodes, but after that it gets better and after 10 eps, I am hooked. The FL got into the novel and changed the novel's script. usually in reality-novel stories like this the lead got into the novel and does what the writer writes in the novel. This one is unique cuz the leads write the novel themselves through what they do in the novel. The struggle for power within the 3 siblings and their uncle is very mainstream but somehow good in execution. The references taken from popular dramas are really fun (CLOY, DOTS, Goblin, Meteor Garden, King Eternal Monarch). Many fun and cheesy parts, and the couple progressed REAL FAST. Fastest progress from all dramas I've seen.

Notes(spoiler): I am just bit disappointed bcoz they can make Susanna and her assistant Jason a secondary couple but it failed, coz they are done after Jason's confession, without showing their progress or anything, which is a pity(it made me -0,5).

Acting is perfect. They portray the characters well, the transition between the overbearing to caring, warmhearted CEO is perfectly acted by Marcus. Vivian is also good portraying Xiao En, a very open, cheerful and active FL. Simon Lian also acts good as Duanmu Qingfeng, the 2nd ML. He portrayed the caring CSO very well.
Cheesy? Yes. Funny? Yes. Chemistry? Got it. The kiss? crazy. The progress? rapid.

OST is perfect. The songs are darn good drops. First time having Trap music for drama ost, and I LIKE IT LIKE CRAZYYY. Especially 對愛入座(Loveseat) by Ariel Tsai, what a drop. Very perfectly executed Air on G string remix. The usage are also good, all in the right moment(cuz I've seen some dramas that put happy music in the evil scenes).

Gonna rewatch if I have time, eps 5 onwards.

seems shallow, truly deep

This is the most realistic relationship I've seen in a c-drama. The relationship between Xia Linxi and Jiang Zhenhan is very realistic, pure, healthy, and not cliche. They understand each other and don't hold grudge, and although some conflicts occur, they resolve it in a fast and understandable way. And both of them are smart, not like the usual stupid n cringey FL. Despite the pressure of FL's stereotypic-asian-tigress mom, they still love each other and stand on their thoughts. Second couple is also good. It's unrequited love that becomes real. Actors are perfect. Their chemistry and their acting is perfect despite of their age, especially the FL (18). Xiang Hanzhi has a bright future ahead in acting. I've seen Wang Anyu in Dreaming Back and ggs2, and waiting for his future projects. Gon'na rewatch, definitely.

nice cast and production but slow paced

I watch this purely bcoz it's interesting, coz I never read the book, and neither have I watched the 2019 one.
It's true to the title, unrequited love. All the mains (except ML)all have unrequited love. Everyone pursues the one they love, but the opponent didn't like them back. The good side is that the FL is a strong, mature and determined person, and how she covers her unrequited love by studying is something that everyone who has unrequited love should try XD. Hu YiTian acts good too, here. he pays the typical "male god" ml, perfect and flawless. But the thing I like from the ML is that although he's talkative, he is more talkative and warm, not the cold type. The bromance and sismance in the ML and FL's room feels so warm and real. Mingrui shines in this series. He is a very likeable and friendly character who has good relationship with everyone. He supports ML's love, and he accompanies FL in her devastated moments. I would like to have a friend like that. Baili is a good, sweet friend, but a terrible lover. She chooses the person who has other girl in is heart. It's weird that he still likes him even after she has been treated like trash. Pacing is very slow, so I don't binge it, I watch it along with other dramas instead. It's much more enjoyable than the early 7 eps which I binged.
But the story dragged, with some unnecessary/toxic relationship, and many misunderstandings occur, and the story went downhill starting from eps. 35/36 onwards. The ending's rushed very badly, and the ending is a very unsatisfactory and open ending, so if you care about a drama's ending very much, this is not for u.
As others said, the romance here is very pure and not cliche. But the romance is just a small part of this. There are only like 5 romantic episodes while the others are only unrequited love. true to the title, ugh.

Nice usage of ost. The ost's slow and calm, like the love between FL and ML which develops slowly.

Overall 7.5/10. I enjoyed the friendship, mingrui, and the acting.

Light, fun, quick watch

This one is a very light and easy youth drama which you won't regret watching.
Firstly, I found this drama after watching Love Equations. Struck by second lead syndrome, I searched for Li Ge Yang's drama and found this. This is his first Main Role and I am interested to watch it right away.
The story is identical as the youth dramas you all usually see. Haters in senior high, then became lovers in Univ. Misunderstanding and family problems occurs then some jealous and missing moments. But the cast really nailed it! They are just extremely cute and fun when they are together. First time seeing the FL, she did it well. Waiting for more of her projects. Her acting is just soooo cuteeee! The ML also acts good, with the personality transition and the secret love between the 2. Supports are also very good. 2nd couple and 3rd couple acts good too. But I just pity the 3rd couple. They are not shown many times and their dating moment is only in 1 eps.
The thing I don't like from this drama: The ending is so unsatisfactory. The ending literally is a plot twist and it just ends IN a rewind.

overall, 8/10

Tropey as I like it

This drama is very tropey and it is a perfect drama to sit back and relax while entering drama world. Fun from beginning to end

Story: One word that describe it is COMMON. Cliche with many flirting, childhood crush, earthquakes and stuff. The best point is that the love rivals are supportive once they've known their crush is taken. You get served with the lovey-dovey, fluffy, low angst with only some un-serious conflicts of the mains, and the hardships the second cp had. It does drag in some parts, but the dragging isn't so bad (1-2 eps) so it's bearable.

Actor: Good picks, Xing Fei, Tang XiaoTian, Li Chuan, n Huang YiLin acts nicely. The chemistry, in my opinion, is better than PYHOMS. Tang Xiaotian acts more happily, not the sad face as Fu Pei in PYHOMS. Xing fei portrays the bright and open Cong Rong perfectly. Li Chuan acts good too, as a caring uncle and the lovelorn Wen Rang. The one who surprisingly shines the brightest is Wang YiLin. She portrays the emotions very perfectly, from the bubbly, carefree character to a more mature character after the rejection before Wen Rang chases her back. Shangguan yi and qin chu are also good. They don't portray much feelings, but their eyes says it. The micro-emotions and details are seen very clearly.

Ost is funny and adds the comedic elements to the drama.

Rewatch: Maybe the second couple, cuz of their conflicts and the double-lovelorn memories part are good to watch.

Not-so-good, but watchable

I am somehow annoyed by the story, especially abt the FL. FL is really mature in her childhood, but her character development is bad. She went from a mature, caring sister to a childish, impulsive and I felt that except the childhood rewind parts, the FL is more like a little sister, ML more like the bro. The misunderstanding part is just weird. Why don't the FL ask her parents about her childhood, and instead believe a lie created by her love rival? Just unreal. ML has a better character, he became mature and caring towards her sister, and he is more hardworking (in my perspective). The only thing I don't enjoy from ML is that he is a bit over-possesive.

The thing I liked from this drama are the supporting characters. Le Di Yin is very-well developed. He went from the silent, unfriendly, and introvert to a cheerful, gossipy, and active character. Liu Zi Wei is also well-developed. From the lazy and naughty character to a considerate and hardworking woman. Ouyang Yu is very friendly, but I just pity him, cuz he is a good person but always got misunderstood and hated by others, n he didn't get a good treatment either . An underrated character.

There are some parts where I feel disappointed, but I don't regret watching this as a time-killer. Incredibly full of bubbles lol

Best Chinese International Romance Movie.

So, the story is actually so-so, a common melodrama where ml breaks up bcoz some disease and still cares for fl until he eventually died. Very common, but I never get bored cuz it is very well done by the actors and prod. team.

The acting is PERFECT. The acting struggle is very obvious, bcoz of the language barrier, and there's NO DUBBING. Lee Joon Gi's chinese is 90% perfect, with only some missed tones (I won't lie coz I am a chinese speaker). The korean spoken by the chinese cast is also perfect. The feelings are so real and their romance is sweet.

Nice music, no over-mellow music and good music production

Definitely rewatch if I'm bored.
