agreed zhuang xu is a million times worse because while he has the same insecurities as ye rong, he weaponized them against nxg in a much more harmful way! while having low self esteem, he still lacks humility. its an awful combination.

i thought ye rong would see the light after being rejected by zhuang xu but she is still so messy!! and every time she sees nxg she just has to say something to demean her! ugh she is just rotten to the core

ep30 is my favorite episode for sure! something about nxg and zx is so buzzy to me, i cant get enough of them! the confession, run, rejection sequence was perfectly done. im so proud of nxg for finally standing up to him and telling him off before leaving him behind. i wish they'd used some of the lines from the novel sdkfjls but its okay. her saying "it was always going to be him" was still so good!!! lai wei ming was amazing in that scene too. i love him so bad and im glad i got to see him in a role like this. ive been waiting for this episode for so long and it did not let me down!

zhuang xu is so bone headed! he's creating problems for himself and making it everyone else's issue :|. can't believe the way he spoke to nxg in ep12. she didn't deserve that. i can understand why he didn't reciprocate her feelings at first, but there's no excuse for why he later never told her he liked her too?? he could've saved himself a world of hurt if he'd just taken a chance on himself
