Title Agent Kim Reactivated Spoiler
I’ve written it before but this series should have ended in episode 8. The last three was basically Die Hard in South Korea filled with nonsensical storyline and tropes it made me cringe. The first eight was a wild roller coaster, enjoyable at every corner but only to end failing into a cliff. sorry if I make you upset but not all of us gets excited with mediocre stories.

I agree with what you said, especially about how the director makes us empathise with Xiao Fan. Hopefully, as…
I know our hero will triumph in the end, I was just bothered when he was kept handcuffed while his supposedly wife tries to force him to have sex in front of his friends when he kept resisting. That is in our book of healthcare frontliners considered non-concensual. And of course our top comes in to save him but somehow took advantage of the situation while he’s on hand cuffs. It’s is but a short scene but was bothersome for us who deals with rape victims. I always cringe with Asian BL’s and forced sex as I be seen a lot of that already. It’s to the point that society is forgetting the victim and focus the voyeurism instead. Now I did give this show a chance and corned watching because I want to see our hero overcome all obstacle. Though not realistic it is achievable in TV shows.

I don't understand why you mention a tragic ending since the series ends on a positive note.
In my book just because a hero or heroine lives, getting there involves the death of many. For me such is unnecessary to keep watchers down only to keep the leads alive.

Thailand change a lot for sure in any aspect ....but this traditional way is still anchored in many families habits…
yes thailands evolution was slow but not as bad compared to other South Asian countries. Forget Malaysia and Indonesia. SK is gradually accepting. SG has been gradually open with restrictions. Philippines was never an issue, but same sex marriage will struggle to pass.

I appreciate your review but your rating really confused me. it’s this kind of scoring that changes averages. I would recommend in the future please rate it the way you see it for all of us who reads and writes reviews. thank you.

I agree that ending needed to be more fleshed out. It felt like it needed one more episode to drive home closer.…

Darn. pJane was human after all, quick to anger and for one who says “don’t be too emotional” he was the antithesis of that statement. He definitely is not the devil but a deeply psychotic person. Remember Julia Roberts’ “Sleeping with the enemy”?

The most anti-climatic ending of a show with so much potential. Thebine who stole the show was Cho Min Kyu as the crazy son, he was brilliant in his role. Our defenseless former cop turned lawyer was so pathetic and lame. and he sunset beach ending using handcuffs as a symbol of commitment….geez what a cliche. I feel the write didn’t know how to end the series which is sad.

yes I do miss masculine lead actors of the old days. Flower Boys seems to be the norm. hard to distinguish what is what. I’m not sexisr as beauty is in the person regardless of their sexual preference.

She was probably the first FL that I didn't caught at naked eye that she was a woman, just after she spoke I did…
from the moment she presented herself with the FL I figured she was a woman. I assumed her roles was an imperial guard and a top ranking officer at that as the son of a noble. then again I may have misunderstood her role in the palace. so I guess there are reserves in uniform just walking around the city. I still like her role in their love team kinda cute actually.

there’s no other choice. people died in wars. people at battlefield know that the fire may accidentally hit…
I agree but after all the episodes on mines and calthrop fireball design it was used once and that’s it. which lead to the injury of the one she loved. the last three episodes was just a weird story and not as consistent with the rest of the series.

Maybe it’s just the pragmatic person in me but how can a cold-hearted female impersonate a male imperial officer for most of her life and almost no one knows. Physiologically there is an absence of an Adam’s throat. there would be more instances where she will be exposed. I know. I know. it’s just a tv show so deal with it.

I really enjoyed the drama albeit it has it own issues but my biggest peeve is the disappointing fight scene in the end. a total let down where raining fireballs sent over your own people. I mean the fireballs was significant part of the story but feels like it was given a cameo role in the end. overall still better than most C-dramas, kept me glued most of the time.

This series was cleverly written it has so many twists and turns…very well executed for a C-drama and devoid of unnecessary filler stories. This proves my thoughts that 40 episodes is overkill. Big fan of our three leads as well they keep this show interesting.

We now live in a world of instant information and yet not have the time to process the cause and effect of our reactions to these information. This is a lesson to be learned from all people of all ages that information cannot be taken lightly. Unfortunately most youth do no have the ability to comprehend or process their action and poor Justin is a victim of his generation. People share constantly what they think is funny or senseless or just damn irritating without thinking of the consequences. Even GMMTV artists admits that the hand sign for help was just a cute hand sign, no harm intended, just ignorance of the fact. Should the punishment be so harsh for a minor mistake? He did not bully his classmate to their death and yet the netizens crucified him to the cross. And what does GMMTV do, left him hanging kn the cross. This will forever haunt GMMTV and their artists, they were not only waking on egg shells, their practically hanging their heads in a guillotine. we now live in a world where artists sell their souls to the devil where they think they have control of their fame, it’s the opposite. That’s why I admire artists in America and Europe where they have a little more liberty in their lives, and not held to a standard only gods can behold. Asnone door slams on Justin, another door shall open. and maybe then he gets the fame he deserves. everyone deserves a second chance and I’m rooting for you kiddo.

I love this series, but i'm stepping away from GMMTVGMMTV has lost my trust. I believe they handled this situation…
GMMTV has grown only to protect the moneymakers…it’s the Goliath of the thai BL industry and someday it can implode. I prefer the smaller production companies myself. better quality shows.

tbh cdramas has their own charm, this one was more realistic, but cdramas lean more toward fantasy
I agree. I love fantasy dramas as well but C-dramas tend to make it too long and to many characters. I guess that’s what people like.
