Where are you seeing in this article that he's asking for an extension??? The article talks about him getting permission to travel abroad for the trip, because he cant travel without permission. He's not asking for more time, he just needs the permission to travel for the vacation. "As per the Military Service Act of South Korea, men over 25 who have not completed military service must obtain permission from the Commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration to travel abroad." It literally says right here, he needs to get permission to travel abroad. Where is this conversation about an extension happening?
