Also people forget that everyone doesn't rate or vote - so the rating is only a sample of our views. Most people don't even know you can rate per episode and only rate once series are completed.
LOL, why are people mad at the rating? I mean you can question it. Sure! But to be upset is mind boggling. People have opinions and preferences - DIFFERENT THAN YOURS. That does not make them a hater.
Also - when a drama tries to cover - these 4 genres or categories - Historical, Comedy, Romance, and Fantasy - it is bound to fail somewhere. That may be what turned viewers off.
If you are upset about a 7.7 rating so soon, take that same logic - it is too early to be concerned about the rating.

a character was passed out from smoke someone came to rescue the character, sat in the fire for a minute. then as they were escaping the rescuer got stuck, the first victim some how was full of energy and then decided to faint with the rescuer.
she wasn't a substitute. when he was writing the sister, FL was the one who was responding. He knew it was not the sister. He knew the person he was communicating with was our FL. So he fell in love with our FL, not the sister.
FL thought they fooled him, but they didn't.
He was engaged to the sister, but loved the person who he was writing. which is our FL.
ep24 further down the rabbit hole - they should have just wrapped this up nicely with the leads living happily ever after, becoming successful and having kids.
Why do Asian dramas always carry the characters struggle until the end instead of giving them peace and resolve for the last couple of episodes.
The show was doing very well for me until ep22 or 23 - now I am no longer interested. Because the are dragging the chaos and it was so unnecessary.
Did y'all notice when Se Ri was talking to herself - she called herself Jae In...lol - my girl is losing it. After being Se Ri her whole adult life - Jae In should not even slip off of her tongue when mentioning herself -
