i watch this drama for its most talk about online, however it doesn't completely impress me, yes the chemistry…
Maybe it's just not for you. I honestly really like the female lead love interest' it's like a journey. I say they all got their fair share because we all know she'll end up with the main lead.

One thing you missed, which was already explained in the episodes, is that Ye Xi An and Gu Jin Zhao can't be together. I honestly relate to this because I also dated someone with the same personality as mine, and just like Gu Jin Zhao said, marrying Xi An is like looking in a mirror. That's honestly where the toxic part came in. Knowing that she grew up without friends and built walls because of how people treated her, Xi An was her only friend, and she doesn't want to lose that either.

The "quiet toxic fool" Chen Xuan Qing indeed loves Gu Jin Zhao, and it is a mutual love interest. Gu Jin Zhao thought that when she fell into the water, it was Chen Xuan Qing who saved her, which is why she fell immediately. An unexpected life twist occurs with his background, where Chen Yan Yun tells him to marry into a family that can protect his secret. He immediately accepts it because Chen Yan Yun is also the one he looks up to. And Chen Yan Yun is not even aware that Chen Xuan Qing and Gu Jin Zhao have a love interest because, at that time, he is focused and busy with the land purchase. How Chen Xuan Qing turns out in the end is honestly the right thing to happen because, from his POV, his uncle stole Gu Jin Zhao from him, which is why he was being insane.

The Main Antagonist has already been active since the beginning. He was the Senior Grand Secretary, while Chen Yan Yun is the new Grand Secretary. His manipulation of the throne's power and abuse of his position, including executing anyone who opposes him, should always result in his own punishment. It's just it took him 40episodes.

I finally finished watching it!!! I LOVE IT, AND I HATE IT.

I love the story. I love the casting. Everything looks perfect to me until the last motherfxxking episode 40? Like WHAT A TRASH ENDING??? and I don't blame the writer, I blame whoever cut the episodes because I already saw it happening as the episode list changed three times!!!

I personally watch this because of Winwin! And honestly, I'm glad that his part is well written. I love how the writer didn't trash their character story about what kind of person he was, and how he would become. I'm so thankful that they gave him that kind of writing. I like it.

Also, unexpectedly, I didn't realize I would love the entire casting from the main couple to the female lead love interest, even their servant, family, and friends. It's just that it was ruined by the inconsistent ending.

I'll give it 8.5/10 because I'm going to be biased with the casting and acting.

Xu Junzun
Too lazy to make one.. >3< I'll just hope someone makes a profile of him. I search and remember him from last year with a minor role. And his appearance kinda change (or maybe because of the costume) so no wonder I find him look familiar.

The brother was the main character... the rest just felt good to watch but nothing wow...its a cheap version of…
"its a cheap version of my liberation notes" I love my liberation notes too but this is not even the same. you just sounded throwing hate just because this is good and you just compared it because both are about life. MLN is good but this one is better.

I always question K-dramas nowadays because I find them in between. Because 90% of them are boring, with generic writing. Some start well, to the point you will binge-watch it, but midway through, the ending drags and loses its spark. And this one is a masterpiece! I just love the writing, and the casting choices are perfect!

I love how the writer made everyone in the main lead get their own POVs. No dragging part, just pure life. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Aside from the great acting I find myself more curious about the story of both sides and upon searching I find it interesting how the uncle King Sejo who usurp the throne execute his nephew on the same day of his birthday Nov7. I wonder if that was just a coincidence or he wanted to reminded himself about his choices.

Overall the story plus with the acting is so sad that he was killed only at the age of 16. 😭

Same here... But why'd they replace him ?.....
I highly suggest you watch it first before being swayed by the casting change, because other than that? Look at the casting, it was a full package. Like S1 casting is already great, but adding more top-rate actors and actresses will surely bring the hype.

I'm excited for Choi Yun Ji and Yeom Jung Ah's roles. I hope they are mother and daughter again with powers too, because I really like them in their previous drama together, although Choi Yun Ji is also recently in Wonderfools with superpowers, so I'm more curious about them.

we don't know that yet because we haven't seen much with the new guy maybe give him a chance. sometimes it doesn't change much because I watched others too with a character replacement and yet they nailed the character.

they dated back in 2020 and for how they met we don't know that exactly because she and him are very old actors like since child-teen days. so it's a circle of connection actors.

Person Kim Soo Hyun
Basically, they dated but not when she was a minor . They broke up and years later she committed suicide and because…
Always has been. Kim Soo Hyun has nothing to do with Sae Reon, since they are just exes. It was this evil Garo Sero who ignited the entire drama that made Kim Soo Hyun the main target. And honestly? He's a scapegoat.

Kim Sae Reon's main issue is that she was involved in a DUI case where she damaged a power station, causing a small village to lose power. Then Knetz canceled her leading role, terminated all her brand endorsements and other projects, and left her with a big pile of debt. But that didn't stop there. Knetz bashed her non-stop, posting that she was faking her "part-time cafe job" and that she was also "gambling", etc. Sae Reon even visited all the shops and apologised for the damage she caused, yet knetz destroyed her soul and did not allow her to return to the industry.

Then, some time later, her life is already miserable at that point. Seeing Kim Soo Hyun's drama "Queen of Tears" become a big hit, surely it made her jealous, and she posted an intimate photo of them without a context, and that became louder, which led to another stirring scandal, with Kim Soo Hyun's toxic fans calling her an attention seeker who wants to get back with Kim Soo Hyun following his drama's success.

The point being these have nothing to do with Kim Soo Hyun's. It's the knetz people and toxic KSH fans who canceled and bullied her that led her to her own death. Then Garo Sero came out and uses her death to make KSH the main picture while Knetz immediately join because obviously they're washing their hands after what they did to Sae Reon.

because there are off-screen auditions and stage plays for rookie actors.stage play is mostly the reason why we…
It's not teaching, I'm just saying it. Just because you perform a Korean play somewhere doesn't mean it is the same as what I mean, lol. The stage play that I'm talking about is with other actors who have already debuted. It's like a circle of known actors/actresses, but not as popular as big-name actors.

"why cast an actor who’s even younger than he was in season 1" The casting team doesn't simply look for age, as mostly early 20s are the ones they're looking for because they're fresh in their eyes. Maybe they saw something about him, that's why they chose him. If you watch so many K-dramas, surely you'll already notice that there are so many new faces who literally have no background or previous works. Are you also going to say they use connection?

"it’s obvious. Landing a leading role by your second K-drama is definitely suspicious." It is obvious if you only think it that way because we haven't seen it yet, other than in Bitch X Rich. Currently, he has a support role scheduled to air soon. " See You at Work Tomorrow!" is the title. Maybe the directors saw something in him there, that's why he got the Beom Seok role.

* Yoon Chae Jan (I don't know him, or maybe you mispelled his name)
* Cho Han Gyeol (he is already a rising actor, and as I mentioned above, the casting is looking for new faces, the fresh ones in their eyes, who knows if he might also audition but didn't pass because he can act more as a bully rather than being Beom Seok)
* Kim Ki Hae ( He is in the Light Shop, which is a shared universe of Moving, so they can't be together at once unless he's playing the same character)

"And there are many more talented ones." There are always talented ones, it just depends on their performance because that's where they always start. Look at Choi Yun Ji. She is also cast here. Back then, she was only a support role and a typical student character, and another support role from The Trunk, which didn't really shine, but look at her, she landed a main lead in Love, TakeTwo as a daughter of Yeom Jung Ah, who is a known actress and is also here in moving season 2.

"personally, I wouldn’t have given him the role. He’s still very young and doesn’t have the shoulders to carry a leading role." You talk so big of yourself, as if you are someone so high lol, that speaks a lot of early delulu sign have a self check, and once again this is not teaching, just saying because I can't swallow how you reply like who do you even think you are? delulu much?

saying he is very young when that's the point of every rising actor in their early 20s, because no one will pick the late early 30s unless they look really hot from the body and face. And lastly, by saying he doesn't have the shoulders to carry a leading role??? Like what? I like Lee Jung Ha too, and I watched him since Rookie Historian to Run On, where I noticed him the most because he was close to Im Si Wan's character, and in Nevertheless, where he shine only because he was the jerk to Han So Hee's character. other than that? He also landed as Beom Seok in Moving as the main lead. Did he also use connection? If you didn't know, he received hate in Nevertheless, by portraying his character role. Knetz said he was ugly, and yet he was chosen to play that role. Other than that? he still came out as Beom Seok, where his character was love, and they forgot how his role in Nevertheless, was.
