tbh, this is only average because obviously, the serial killer from the 2000s is different from Yoo Seong Ha.. instead, she reminds me of the movie Cruella De Vil where her birth mom will kill her own child and anyone just for her success and narcissistic character that fits YSH.

yeah, the one to blame here is the bad editing so many unnecessary scenes but overshadowed by the drama that is happening and the members are not totally helping at all and that's understandable because all of them are E's and only two I's and Hanmin is an I! so it's really hard for him to be blame because he's not that someone who'll go around and initiate convos but yeah as I said bad editing.
Disney took this "movie" only to turn it into 4eps which is two hours long (30+ mins per eps) and in the end, it's another basic average movie from the Korean industry~
they keep making bs movies like this like it wasn't bad but it's way way better if they give us 8eps or 16eps for a series so they can explain more about what's going on. this is the same universe as The Witch series and obviously, everyone here is aware of those mutants and so on so I don't know what their purpose on making movies like this. I just find that absurd that they wasted their whole week being clingy and made as assume that they really like that but suddenly decided to be? that's unecessary to air.
binge-watch the 14eps and last 2eps where they continue the plot twist of who the murderer is .. it was an unexpected twist but reasonable tho with those 2 eps left it feels rushed because the scenes for Ko Won got cut from being the second main lead to support role .. Mi Jin friend got more screentime with the unexpected relationship between Ju Byeong Deok .. but Ko won is the second main lead here and he only gets closure to the female main lead which is disappointing I get that I don't ship them or not the end-game but he still deserves more screentime.
Are they really removing the LGBTQ+ romance between the two main characters or is it just a rumor?
it's a TVN series they won't show an open LGBT scenes unlike NETLIX but they might show some ideas that it's actually LGBT .. like what they did in Prison Playbook where the gay couple kiss but didn't show the actual kissing scene.
better to be a series rather than 2hr movie .. an interesting concept but dragged to midway due to many unnecessary plot holes.

the investigator is part of the sweeper thing and they exist but who and what exactly are they? this movie started with fiction but tried to make it seem like it exists in reality. lol I know there are accidents made in real life like turning a crime into suicide/accidents and such but wakey wakey this ain't makjang.
the streamer is not mysterious because he has no background at all it's like his character was dumped there only to throw some random nonsense.
another nonsense is Lee Chi Yun is not a sweeper or so on but met Wol Cheon who dressed as Joo Yeong Seon in his office ?? then by the time Joo Yeong Seon's suicide is in question was it a suicide or plotted ?? LOL too many questions for a movie
overall interesting that you won't notice it's about to end but the ending drags the story. the casting is really good but the story is meh.

I just finished watching the boyfriend and I say it's incomparable to hisman 3 it's too good for me .. I kinda agree with the short eps I wish they added more and the time rather than 40m per eps only .. because most of the contestants has side story and interesting as well overall it serves.

I think so too maybe the prob here is the edits with the unexplainable drama.. I'm currently watching The Boyfriend right now and I'm loving it. this on on the other hand is a big disappointment for me they made it look like a survival show rather than an actual dating show.
I'm in episode 9 and I'm dropping it.. the drama between them all is super uncomfortable to watch I'd rather watch some clips or someone to spoil me with the rest of the eps.
but not a single one joining on Seung Jin group chat is the most disappointing thing I've ever seen among these EXTROVERT GAYS because they're too busy dealing with their drama lol. so inconsiderate NO GAY FRIENDSHIP.
at least season 1 and 2 are not like this but the prods here put the heavy drama LOVE TRIANGLE + PAST EX-FLINGS is too much to handle especially having that 29 and 33 years old who can't secure their feelings with one person... like hello you guys only have a whole week at least give the other one the chance to find someone instead of confusing him and giving him some hope rather than pure rejection lol.
and last but not least is like WHAT IS THE REASON WHY Yeongjun and Hanmin decided to be friends instead of being a couple ??? what is that a one-week fling?
