i don't know whats worse, 1) present day sol being stuck in past sol's body and reliving her life (essentially making her somewhat a perv since he is a high school student (physically and mentally) whereas she is a grown ass woman mentally) ..... the only way to fix this would be if they both time traveled in the last turn
or 2) present day sol starting the spark of a relationship between past sol and sunjae and she wakes up in a future with sunjae (but she doesnt remember their relationship after she came back to present, so technically shes a stranger to the relationship )
the issue with time travel is how their memory will get affected in the future (will she completely frgt about the 1st timeline?) ig it would be good for her though since she can live a different life but on the other hand since she hasnt lived through the same incidents as 1st timeline she wont have the same personality
I don't believe Sun-jae forgot Sol. TVN previews are often unreliable. My theory is that Sol returned to the present…
i think she'll go one last time to catch the murderer myb sunjae dies again in present time and this time its a homicide so she suspects the murder and catched him in the past (and myb through that incident sol and sunjae in past become close and she wakes up to a future with sunjae?)
guys does anyone recall seeing 2ml in the future band? if he wasnt a part i feel like he may have also gotten into an accident or involved with the murderer (and myb sol was the witness? idk)
In her letter to YZM, what does Grandma mean that she just wants to make up for regrets? What regrets? What difficult…
see he knows what his grandma's intentions were when she left xing'anli to MCH and although he didnt full agree with the decision he has grown to accept it over time...about her entrusting MCH and xing'anli to YZM, YZM obviously knew how much they both cared for each other and she would definitely want him to look after her(and i cant recall exactly when but i think there was an ep where he promised his grandma he would look after chenghuan) ,and i also think he said that because his grandma knew (to some extent) regarding his feelings towards MCH and how much he cared for her and before dying she also said that his personality changed because of MCH and that he became nicer....another pov for leaving the house could be that the grandma knew about the fact that Mai family would continue to live in that house and that he would no longer be lonely or it could be to express her wish that he stays in china and doesnt go to switzerland....I never said that the grandma resented him i just think that she knew that MCH would be more likely to continue managing the hotel with her values where as YZM is more cut throat and profit minded....
In her letter to YZM, what does Grandma mean that she just wants to make up for regrets? What regrets? What difficult…
the regret is probably over the fact that she didnt pay much attention to him and he ended up living abroad and experiencing a lot of hardship (myb it even impacted his personality to an extent) either that or she means the regret towards the hotel which she built that isnt successful and she wants someone with the same values as her to make it successful so that she stops feeling sorry for the hotel and the staff there...YZM is referring to the problem of him having to give up on his promotion and help MCH, grandma had pretty much made it obvious that she aligns with MCH especially when they went on that trip to the hotel so it wouldnt have been extremely surprising to him (besides MCH has been by her side this whole time whereas YZM just showed up recently in order to get xing'anli
after the preview i feel like sol will help 2ml and ml form a band together (and hopefull 2ml doesnt become annoting/toxic)
i also have to say that sol is truly selfless, most people in her situation will somehow try to save themselves from future regrets (in her case the accident) but she is literally not even thinking about it
Okay, two episodes and I really don't know whether should I continue or not. The acting is really off for me.…
ohmg i was wondering why no one was bringing up their acting, i thought i was the only one!! the fl's acting is fine but the ml's acting is so off for me....
Huan's mom is not status hungry... She just wants her daughter to live a happy life... Her perspective is that…
I think deep down she does know that she got lucky in terms of her children because she clearly loves both her children and wants the best for them, most asian parents get their love across by nagging at their loved ones, she probably resents her husband to some extent aswell because he would have promised her a good life when she married him but she does not live a great life like he may have promised....she went to talk to yao because she thought that their mutual relationship with grandma would help chenghuan and that he was a nice person (she is very naive when it comes to people's true intentions and she believes what she sees on the surface)....im sure that she is extremely wound up since she hardly has anything in her savings and considering her age if the have any emergencies (medical) they wont have any savings to spend......this type of parent is definitely not unique, i have many relatives who also think they are entitled to interfere in their childrens life and they can't see anything wrong with it because thats how they were raised....i'm not saying its right though its just that she isnt inherently bad
Huan's mom is not status hungry... She just wants her daughter to live a happy life... Her perspective is that…
see everyone is status hungry to an extent, everyone wants to be the best versions of themselves and improve their reputation in fl's mother's case she came from a poverty background and moved to the city from the countryside and married chenghuan's dad in order to have more opportunities but she was still stuck in the loop of poverty....if you look at their situation itself they cant even do anything when their house is flooded and they have to rely on their daughter for most expenses....She was initially against chenghuan marrying but she eventually came to terms with it but once she realized he was extremely rich she was overjoyed in her pov it was a golden opportunity where her daughter could not only marry the man she loved but also live a great life (myb a selfish side of her also believed their whole family would be saved but thats normal).......Now keep in mind she has absolutely no idea how chenghuan has been treated since chenghuan never tells her mother any of her issues so her mother thinks that although his family is a bit entitled they will eventually come to accept chenghuan.....In her eyes jia liang's family is perfect she cant see any of the issues because she has never had those kind of issues (the part with mistress inheritance etc. are probably unheard of for her)........Her mother is also someone who was hardened by the harsh realities of poverty she believes that this is the best possible guy for her and that they and their children will never face what she went through....its just that her love for her is blind and she cant see all the glaring red flags
FL's mom is a mental case..... I've never seen a mom like her,in all my life....is she not aware, that her behaviour…
in her eyes she can only think of making her daughter successful so that she doesn't end up like her...plus she is very naive and gullible (myb because she isnt very educated) and she is unable to understand the schemes of the xin family...for her all the issues in her like stem from her social status and poverty and the best way for them to escape that is through her marriage
I think the writers did exactly as you suggest, but simply came to a different conclusion vis-a-vis pacing and…
no what i meant is that most shows tend to stick to 16-20 eps as a standard and very few change the number of episodes from this standard...due to this im sure that the writers are forced to write content for more episodes than required...
Inst weird how that pregnant sister is always at her parents place? Doesnt she have another daughter ?
i think there are two reasons one being her first pregnancy and the other is the fact that she was married in order to improve her family's social status which indicates that she was probably married against her will to someone her parents chose and they probably don't love each other so she prefers staying with her parents
I'm on ep 11, the mother really doesn't know when to give up. I know she cares about her daughter and her wellbeing…
from her perspective she just doesnt want her daughter to undergo what she did and she wants her to have a better life, and in most cases the best way to climb the social ladder is through marriage, she believes that she knows whats best for her daughter (due to her age like most elders in asian households) and she tries to interfere in her daughter's issues as a way to help her..... She thinks her daughter will be happy forever if she marries xin jialang since he has a lot money and in her life the biggest issues arise due to poverty
She isnt an inherently bad person, she's just a typical asian mom that doesnt know about her daughter's feelings....And yes since this is a family drama her character will most likely get some development and she will become more mature
remember the ep where hyun-woo extends hae-in's lifeline temporarily using a pen? was it to show that hae-in was supposed to die when she was a child but hyun woo extended her life? does that mean her hope for survival now is less??
she did mention her WBC count increased though so idk
honestly writers should write the whole plot of the show and then decide how many eps are required, this show clearly does not require 16eps they are just extending it with unnecessary filler episodes
