I was just thinking, loving someone as intense as NDS can be tiring. It is clear to me that NDS loves SDM more…
There is no dispute that HJP is a better option. But it's also true that in reality you can fall in love not because he's better, sometimes you just do. I guess this is what the whole Dodal idea is aimed at - they're at their 20's and they're emotionally driven in love and career. It was advertised as a "youth drama" after all. They just miserably failed to get us on board.
I hope kim seon-ho's next drama is a great success and I hope they pair him with a great actress like (gong hyo-jin…
Yoon EH - I was actually thinking of her while I was watching Catch the Ghost. I feel she would've fit the role so well, or Park BY. No offense to moon GY, good actress I just didn't like the role for her.
I thought at the beginning it was about Dalmi though? Yes he didn't know she would join Sandbox but he already…
So I just rewatched the coda scene if maybe I missed it lol.. but HJP didn't tell them he will mentor them, SST just went straight to entering sandbox. Then HJP applied to be a mentor (the scene posted) just in case "they lucked out and get in" but he even "hope they don't get in". Also, a few seconds prior to neck pillow VP entering, he wrote on sandbox wall "to pay my debt" so I think really at this very early stage, he was just about Dalmi/Granma and nothing towards SST. Again, it changed later on which is why his character development was well written (until the time skip that is).
To clarify a misunderstanding : "I just want to state some facts here. JP really wanted to help SST. The reason…
I thought at the beginning it was about Dalmi though? Yes he didn't know she would join Sandbox but he already had NDS pretend to Dalmi at that point so he had to "keep an eye" on SST. Just this scene, ofc it changed later on.
Why is the rating in free fall? Was planning to binge it this week!
I think it's still a good watch overall, most of us genuinely enjoyed up to ep 12 then you can decide from there if you like or not. Yes, there's ship war and ship wreck, story focused on the love triangle so viewers did as well but at the end of the day that's just one part of the whole :)
My personal worst drama of the year so far stands at 7.3. So maybe 7.5?Edit: Oh wait, I completely forgot that…
Srsly???? I was getting so annoyed at the FL so immersed in playing the victim without hearing anybody out at all like her opinion is the only opinion any other opinion is not even worth hearing. But I thought maybe the reveal will be so grand that I would finally understand her acting that way but the reveal was b*s* I turned off the tv and ate a sandwich. Thanks to you I'm more convinced now that Start-up, however frustrating still could've been worse.

I dropped "Was It Love" after the great reveal that wasn't great at all, and rated it 7.0 since I genuinely enjoyed the first half. For Start-up I enjoyed it until Demo Day (was it ep 12?) and am still watching so imo this still did better than "Was It Love"
