Ok I might get crucified for asking this but, I really want to watch this as it looks good from the comments and I love JCW to bits but I’m just not into musicals overall - so if I skip (don’t shoot me) the singing parts, will it still make sense?? Or are there scenes during singing that are crucial to, feels aside, the story??
Rewatching i saw there is so much hate for JKJ's acting/Seulhae in the timed comments on viki during the first…
Oh I know how to turn it on I just can’t fathom how to watch with 2 different things to read LOL! Around of applause to you! I used to like the viki feature where you can hover over (laptop) a word in the subs and then it will translate just the word so it was good for learning. Idk if they still have it as I’ve grown 120% lazier over the years and I just cast it to my tv now while I eat chips, maybe look at my phone but even that’s too much multitasking.

First of all, do give advice on how to watch with the timed comments on - with the picture, subs, and now comments, THAT’S A LOT OF WORK LOL!! I first seen her in that Veronica park drama and it was just as funny as this so I really like her in comedies but idk about other genres yet. Also to be fair she is alongside PHJ who is a superb actor. If I were to pick an actress of the same tier, maybe more like Seo Hyunjin (personal opinion)
because the later episodes were all disappointing, and the ending felt not only rushed and cramped with too many…
True what @bloomingtide said. Just a matter of personal taste. I think this had way better pacing than most kdramas (i.e. wrap up started at ep 15 instead of last 20 mins of finale) and the ending was satisfying. And to give my own example of odd one out, I dropped & picked up Vincenzo maybe 5 times before I finally gave up at ep 6. I really tried but sometimes something just doesn’t click with you even when it does with everyone else.
