I listened to the comments here and watched ep 3-5. Yeokshi~ a main couple’s chemistry can make or break a kdrama. There was absolutely nothing new/unique in this but still I laughed, I fell and then poof gone! Definitely need a full drama with these two.

For real??? Now that’s a love story I want to see in a future kdrama. If it would be again portrayed by Junho even better haha!

Ya obviously not in this day and age, but during a time when rank is way of life and polygamy is something expected of a King, for Deok im to reject being a consort is admirable. Likewise, Yisan not having her beheaded for it is daebak haha!

I’ve been to Singapore cpl times and I kinda know what you’re saying. It reminded me of when I visited NY City where everyone’s too busy rushing & hustling, except SG is not nearly as crowded. Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand are more “friendly” in that sense. I visited SK once too and I find ajummas like it when I try to ask/speak Korean (basic stuff, how much is this, etc) but younger ones rather speak in English I find.

So weird how we’re used to Korean being translated to English for us, and here these guys are translating us to Korean lol

Right? The only thing I may have wished for was if Yi San, when he took the throne towards the end, said his famous line “I am the son of Sado”. That would’ve given me major goosebumps, but maybe I’ll get to see our Junho do it instead.

Smart. I came in without research until the episodes progressed I kept still thinking about Sado more than the rest. Lo and behold, Yoo Ah In appeared.
