With a few more episodes to go, I can, safely, say this is one of the cutest, sweetest, somewhat realistic, BL series I’ve seen in awhile. The casting is great—everyone in it is excellent. It’s well-made, as good as most teen Jdramas, but better than most BL series. The story touches on some very honest life experiences and depicts them well.

I agree, completely. I saw nothing wrong with his acting. I didn’t realize he was a rookie. The role he played was a taciturn & laconic man, which he played well.
I’m on ep. 11 and have NO clue what’s going on here. Can anyone explain it to me. First, from week to week, I can’t remember all the names they’re rattling off, who sent who a message from somebody else’s phone, and why. No clue what is happening here. I’m lost. And I’m only 14 minutes in to the episode.

I offered to choose series for them. Unfortunately, they haven’t taken me up on my offer. 😝 But, SHINE would’ve been the first one I’d choose, because I’ve been waiting so long to see it!

Netflix has been choosing some of the worst bl series. Obviously, they didn’t know what they were doing, until they optioned, SHINE!!! Maybe, they’re on the right track, now! I mean, there are a few good ones on there, but they’re from countries, other than Thailand.

Also, I’ve read numerous comments on here stating that it’s a misunderstanding, anyway. But, god forbid you put a little more time in to see whether you’re right or wrong.
