A few commenters have mentioned that they are bored and waiting for the series to end.In response, I have two…
I have invested too much time in this to give up now, I guess. I’ve been struggling to get through it, gave up for a few episodes, haven’t watched 9 or 10, yet, because I wasn’t sure I even wanted to. I don’t care much for Jed Chung’s acting. He doesn’t have the proper expressions and nothing comes through his eyes. I feel he has no real chemistry with Chu Meng Hsuan, who seems to be taking on the burden of acting alone, most of the time. He’s a MUCH better actor, but “it takes two to tango.” We all have a right to our own opinions. Mine is the opposite of yours. Even if I was the only person, who felt this was lacking in many ways, it wouldn’t mean that I was wrong in my opinion of this series. We all see things differently.
It’s always easy to accuse strangers of “supporting rapists” when you’re hiding behind a screen. Try repeating…
You are judgmental. No better than those who judge the LGBTQ community as “deviant.” There are all kinds of relationships in this world. Just stop watching & commenting, then , everyone will be happier & better off. Thank you.
From the get-go, I did not like the actor, who plays Sailom. Tee’s looks bother me to the extent that I could NOT enjoy the series. He does not even seem like a very good actor, especially next to Masu (?). I was going to go on about his character’s personality (or lack, thereof), but nothing else mattered as much as the fact that I could not get past his looks. The story WAS a decent one, as were the side stories, and the other actors were all very good.
It’s a shame that Tee bothered me to such a great extent that I couldn’t really enjoy the series, wholeheartedly. I’m not normally that shallow, but it’s like chalk screeching across a blackboard—some people might consider it a tolerable sound, but that wouldn’t be me.
